So once you’ve started creating great content, and you’ve found your readers where they’re already hanging out, you can take the next step: creating content or guest posting for other, larger sites to help build your profile and drive traffic.
One of the best ways that you can showcase the kind of value that you’re able to deliver to people on your blog is to create that kind of content for other destinations on the web. But of course, the first thing you need to discern is what we discuss in episode 33: who are you trying to reach? And where are they? That will help you determine who to guest post for, or where to have your content published.
In this episode I will help you find where your ideal readers are, and also what kinds of content you could create to best show your skill and style in places other than your blog. In future episodes, we’ll drill down into each of the strategies I suggest, but for today it’s great to get an overview of how and where you can expand your reach.
Your goal should be to create your best content for these channels you choose in order to demonstrate credibility and authority and that you provide high value in all places, including your own blog.

Hey Darren, I have listened last podcast it was quite good but this time you had provided awesome one. As I listened about how to pitch ideas, make networks and get more traffic without spam. There are playing an ingredient for us to drive traffic and business growth our client. Looking forward to see something out of box in the next podcast!
I have not listened to these podcast, however will shortly do so, the topics I closely relate too. Content is a battle in my mind, so difficult to get down on paper.

Hi Darren, guest posting has worked especially well for me in attracting new traffic to the site. The trick here is to have an optin box so that you don’t lose the new visitors.
Forum marketing too is a good thing to do. But quality wins over quantity.

Darren, could you please list a few websites that allow guest posting, cus I have been trying to find ONE and COULDN’T! getting frustrated…
I completely agreed with Darren. If you are writing guest posts then inserting useful images will be a good idea indeed in order to get more user interaction and to make it more easy for users to understand.

One thing that most bloggers usually find difficult and time consuming is discovering where their readers are hanging. However, its also one if not the most important factor when it comes to building a successful online business.
If you find out where your readers are and also discover the type of things they like and how best to give it to them then, you’re made.

This is good and actionable information for me where I am struggling to attract traffic to new blog. I will follow the methods.
Creating content for other sites and commenting on blogs with unique and meaningful messages is a great way to build online visibility, a positive foundation for solid web business reputation, and increase Internet revenue potential. Most people focus on creating content on other sites just to get back links and traffic. Focusing on back links alone is a small way of thinking for any blogger or Internet marketer because search engine algorithms and Internet marketing laws virtually change overnight.

Guest posting has always been a great way to get exposure for business owners. Moreover, it allows you to exhibit the expertise of business owners on related niche or topic.
According to Mat Cuts from Google guest posting is dead. How ever I think it still has allot of value.

Guest posting requires new and engaging content so that readers can feel connected with your blog and you should always check your guest post twice for typos, this can ruin your first impression to readers.

Agree with your opinion, this is great tips, but this will only works if the site have really high authority, not just any authority. This guest posting will work like an ads, so the reader on that site will be more aware about your site. But for google, this is maybe just another contextual backlink.
