New Perspectives inspire Fresh Content

Posted By Darren Rowse 29th of November 2005 Miscellaneous Blog Tips 4

Shawn emailed me to tell me about a post he’s written Bloggers Block where he simply moves his desk and finds that it gives him a fresh perspective.

  1. You don’t even have to move your desk – just do what Robin Williams did in Dead Poet’s Society and stand on your chair (and hope it doesn’t rotate while you’re standing on it) :)

  2. LOL – nice one Stuart. I might try that now…..

  3. Oh yes, moving around is pretty critical. This is part of the reason I work almost entirely from my laptop.

  4. I was standing on my desk when I wrote this note, and thereupon felt the encroachment of four blades slinging themselves in a controlled fury, aiming each stroke at the top of my head. Apparently, the ceiling fan was unwilling to share its space and saw it fit to chop my head off.

    Thank you, and good evening.
