So happy to tweet this Stacey. Folks seem to be most interested in monetizing their blog, and if you really want to rake in that sweet, sweet cash, you’ll blog to free yourself, and to free your audience…..because blogging to make money puts your energy in the wrong space. Money does not send you money. People send you money. Blog to free them, and you’ll monetize your blog effectively. Fab list of resources here, and I gotta say, I really dug Stacy C’s blog because she’s a friend and member of my tribe. Really fun read and oh so inspiring because she shows that we can succeed online with a fairly quick turnaround if we’re really clear on our direction.
The inner game is where it’s at, and when you get your mindset down the possibilities really become tremendously limitless….if that’s even a term LOL! If you can get super, super clear on why you’re blogging and if you can detach from money outcomes, and focus mainly on sharing value and connecting with leaders from your niche, you’ll have learned the secret of money blogging: money finds people who don’t look for money, life-wise and blogging-wise. Or, if you devote most of your energies to creating and connecting – the 2 C’s – you’ll have few problems opening up income streams.
The income streams will open, and money will flow through them and your blog, to you, because of all the value you created and because of all of the connections you made. I found that my coaching and freelance writing businesses, as well as my eBooks, well, they grew in proportion to the number and quality of my connections with bloggers as well as the value I brought to the table. You get what you give to others, in essence, or in truth, and the more I leave in depth, quality comments on top shelf blogs like this one, well, folks and prospering opportunities seem to find me with increasing ease. It’s a wonderful, wonderful cycle, so I’ll stay on board and keep up with the creating and connecting, because these days it feels quite effortless to me.
Loved the list, and your generous sharing.
As noted, tweeting now from paradise!
