What about linking with other websites? Any advice?

  2. I really appreciate all your useful information. Thanks

  3. Excellent tips! I started blogging back when I was in the Internet Marketing arena and then started exploring advanced options like tagging, auto-blogging, etc. But with the way the Internet has evolved, I think returning to the whole basic premise of community building – putting out valuable content that compels people to tell their friends about your resource, etc., is where the real future lies. It’s all about moving towards the Web 3.0 model.

    Enjoy,

    Barbara

Wow! That’s a lot of helpful information! If only I had the time to read ALL of them.

  5. Nice article. Very helpful. I’m going on 6 months on my blog, but I still feel like a beginner and this is very helpful. This article will probably be helpful for years to com.

  6. This is great! Everything anyone would need to start blogging

  7. Darren – stumbled across this today – I did a 2 hr podcast with a large consulting company and now many of the listeners want to know what’s next. I always point them to you and The Copyblogber – Because of great articles like these. Thanks!

  8. Hi Darren,

Absolutely brilliant blog; the best one I have read, to date! I haven’t had time to read everything, but I will be returning. Keep up the fantastic work!

    Many thanks,

    Matthew.

  9. Hi Darren

I started blogging end of December last year after reading some of your articles for beginner blogger when i stumbled upon your website… Thanks for your tips! You have been fantastic! Keep it up!

    Demark

  10. I’m speachless about a lot of these articles. I’m going to try to get on here everyday and read as much as I possibly can.
Thank you for such a great blog.

  11. Your blog is absolutely exceptional. I aspire to have my blog “Make the Most of Your Time” be in your league.

I have added a direct link to your blog on mine.

    Best wishes.

    Sincerely,

  12. This post has more trackmarks than a heroine addict. Good job!

Your blog is great Darren keep up the good work and God bless!

  13. I’ve been trying to blog for a while and have never really gotten it right properly.

I’m gonna use the things you said I should do and I’m sure its going to help.

    Thanx. ;)

  14. Great post! I have been blogging for over a year and even though I have had some good success, one can always get better and this post is definately going to improve my skills! Thanks again for a great post.

  15. What Im wondering though, is why would anyone want to look at my blog. Seems the only reason most people are putting them up is to try to make money. Sure there are plenty that have great info but I would say a large number of them are uninteresting or are doing nothing more than trying to generate affiliate and adsense sales..

  16. I thought I would add, as well, that your sentiment in this post may be the very deciding factor as to whether or not a blog will survive.

Blogging has been around for some time now. I think, it is safe to imagine that online surfers can quickly determine by now the objective or bottom line of a blog.

As I perceive it, surfers are looking for information and are likely blog owners as well.

    Nice point!

  17. Blogs are great but it’s important to know that interesting blogging does require knowledge and work. Hate to see poor blogs. We would have much more great blogs if people would know more about blogging.
For this reason the tips laid out here are so valuable and should be set mandatory for anyone interested in blogging.
When you know better about Internet and making moneyYou do better!

  18. Tannage,

If you are looking for information on venues and options that are available for making money online, you could try the ‘Real Money Show’.

Self-employment is no longer the far-fetched dream of a small percentage of the working class.

There are some business experts who say that now is the time to invest in your own business.

With numerous business consultants predicting that the stock markets are in for a rough ride, an online business with its lower costs appears to be the more sensible choice.

Well-known journalist and television host, John Daly, utilized his expertise to create an online series of interviews with creators of online marketing programs with a track record for turning some people into millionaires.

The obvious benefit of this approach is that individuals actually get to see and hear the people behind these successful programs.

‘The Real Money Show’, http://www.realmoneyshow.com, is designed to help anyone, with the interest, to find an online business well suited for them and give them the opportunity to live the lifestyle they decide.

The credibility of this online resource is reinforced by the fact that ‘The Real Money Show’ does not endorse anyone or any particular program.

These five to ten minute interviews allow people to read, watch, listen, and make an educated decision.

I hope you find the reference useful.

  19. It’s great to see so many blogging tips and such a great blogging discussion in one place. Well done
