  1. […] According to Problogger I should choose a very specific niche and write about it. Because if I’ll be writing on different subjects just like I’m going to do it then nobody will be reading my blog. And if nobody will be reading my blog, then I will not make make. But I do not intend to make money out of this blog. Of course i’m lying. All links on my blog will have affiliate links. And I will make several millions out of it. Anyway, if you would like to start a blog by yourself, you should check Problogger as they have great tips on blogging for begginers. February 21st 2007 Posted to Uncategorized […]

    Hi there,

I have recently created the blog at http://short-term-london-property-to-rent.blogspot.com

After having tried to submit my blog to My Yahoo, My MSN as well as Google Sitemaps, my blog’s URL has not been found or recognised.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me solve this problem.

    In advance Many Thanks.

Hi Darren, Thanks so much for the valuable information in your blog. A 3-day newbie like myself is learning a lot from you.

I’d like to have my own domain/host, can anyone recommend a good Web Hosting service? Thanks.

  42. Hi Darren

I agree with misty, thanks for a great resource.

The crazy thing is just, like with everything new, it takes time. Take yourself for example. I do not know your background, but I bet you have some serious technical, writing, advertising, marketing background.

You forgot stuff we are only now discovering. Obviously, you are one of those people that wish to share and build society and that’s why you have such a huge following. You share, pure and simple.

I sometimes wish I could plug into a mind like yours and learn EVERYTHING you know in a flash. Right now, I am building and failing and building and failing, but always forward.

This resource have been a great help!

MISTY. I use Godaddy, but I did the database setup on my own. I do not think they are the best though. Try Thirsphere hosting, they have amazing resources on Internet Marketing as part of the package.

    All the best!

    Hi Nicholas,

Thanks so much for your feedback.

I have just signed up for a Web Hosting Service with Lunarpages today. It is one of the services that were recommended by Damien Rileys (http://rileycentral.net/wordpress/2007/06/03/blogging-platform-setup/), who has some experience with Lunarpages.com. I’ve also heard that it has good tech support from others. WordPress is included in its Fantastico Script Library at Lunarpages.com. Dimien has offered to help with blog related questions. I usually get his replies in a day or so. Try him if you have questions in the future if you like.

    http://www.lunarpages.com/basic-hosting/

I have just begun to play around with the tools given there. I’ve installed the FrontPage extensions as per instructions. Still trying to figure out where the FrontPage client resides(i thought that it resides on the server).

  44. Misty says: 07/04/2007 at 8:56 am

Nicholas, This is to follow up on my last post. Looks like I can start to build the blog content as soon as I installed WordPress from Fantastico using Lunarpages. I have a lot to learn moving forward, but I am excited about it.

Darren, Thanks again for teaching me how to start on blogging. I am a frequent visitor at problogger.net.
