For a blogger starting out, what blog site would you recommend. In other words which ones offer the most exposure to search engines and give the best bang for your word.

I am new to blogging, but without reading all the titles of what blogging is about. I can see the titles are relevant to help anyone to understand what blogging is about.
I intend to read all the inforamtion regarding blogging as you can always learn more. You always miss something which will loose you money. Or help to make you do things correctly.

I am an amateur blogger and have set-up a number of blogs since 2005.
My blogs do not get visitors because I do not understand the use of Technorati etc.
However, I find ProBlogger.net by Darren really good as he is really open and since in Teaching Beginners about Blogging either for our personal sharing blogs, infomation blogs or monetizing our blog.
His tips are very refreshing, open, useful, creative, basic language, good tips.
I highly recommend this to any Beginner.

I am a beginner who has been blogging almost every day since late June of 2006. For the first few months my ad revenue was close to nothing, but as time went on I began to see steady improvements in both revenue and traffic. My advice is to make sure you:
1) Post on a frequent basis (daily if possible)
2) Submit your articles to ezinearticles.com (generates more traffic)
3) Ping at Pingomatic.com and Pingoat.com (generates more traffic)
4) Continually make improvements and learn other bloggers
5) Graph and study your traffic and revenue
6) Keep at it…the work will pay off, but you have to remain committed. If you can’t handle posting all the time see if you can bring someone on board to post with you. New ideas and perspectives are a great way to appeal to different audiences.

May Ong, Technonati is not hard to use, all you have to do is submit your site, and ping it when you update.

I have been reading Darren’s blog and i must admit is it ia real bible for beginners. You find all the stuff wanted. Even though some aspects are not explained in details, it gives an excellent general overview on how to proceed in order to have a successful Blog !
