  1. $3.00 per trial subscriber? Oof. Not very much. I was thinking they might include something extra with a little oomph in it…like a bump in profit if they DO sign up, or a percentage of something or another. Make any sense?

I do hope it works, however. It’s good to see them taking initiatives.

  2. I think that WordPress is taking a good chunk of the market, and this move is to get the conversation started for Moveable type again.

I wish them luck, but I think that when fighting a superior product in wordpress that is free, Moveable Type will slowly become a niche product.

  3. Trouble is the program is run by Commission Junction which always seems to smother the original vendor. I’ve never really got on with their style and tend to avoid them. Finding your way around their site is a chore in itself.

  4. Lets see how it goes.

  5. We’ll see how it goes. I understand the point about it being a low amount and having a lot more for signing on, but in another way of looking at it,$3 bucks is a lot for no direct revenue to Six Apart!

  6. Affiliates, that Word used to mean somthing to me once lol…
Well im working harder, reading more and spending most of my hours i used for sleeping learning ecommerce, adsense, marketing, website design etc. And for months now, I am getting nowhere. I can’t even see my adsense ads on my blog lol. ok this is sounding funny now ( ROLMAO )
I need to rethink everything and start over. I am an affiliate with so many sites i have lost track. I’m going to get this right if it’s the last thing I do.
Thanks for all the advice here and on this site, I read it often. It is a big help for me and I am sure for the other readers here also.
