What to Do if You Are Looking for a Ticket for #PBEVENT (or are Trying to Sell One)

In less than one month we’ll be gathering at Etihad stadium for #PBEVENT 2012!
I can’t believe how close it now is!
As the big days come closer we are beginning to see a couple of common questions come in that I thought I might address in a post. They are:
- I want to come but missed out on a ticket – is there a way to get one?
- I have a ticket but due to unforeseen circumstances I can’t come – how do I sell my ticket?
While we are unable to offer refunds – last year in the lead up to the event we saw quite a few tickets change hands and given the demand I don’t expect that those with tickets to sell should have too much trouble in finding buyers.
We’re more than happy for tickets to be sold in the lead up to the event as long as they’re sold at the price they were bought and on the condition that you tell us about the change of details so we have the correct details on hand of those coming on the day.
Where should I look to buy/sell tickets?
There are 2 main places where you can look to buy and sell ProBlogger Training Event Tickets:
- Facebook – we have an Event page for PBEVENT on Facebook here. If you are selling a ticket please post about it on that page. We’ve already seen a couple of people do this and tickets have been sold reasonably quickly.
- Twitter – if you’re selling a ticket I suggest tweeting that you have one for sale with the hashtag of #PBEVENT. If you’re looking for tickets… watch this hashtag.
Please Notify Us of Changes in Tickets
If you sell or buy a ticket please notify us of it by contacting Jasmin Tragas at jasmin AT problogger DOT net – she needs to know both the names and email addresses of the person selling the ticket and the person buying the ticket so that we can make changes in our system. Also please let Jasmin know if the buyer has dietary requirements and what their Twitter handle and blog URL is.
Finally – in the unlikely event that we do have more tickets to sell we’ll notify the Waitlist who register at Eventbrite – you can register on our Eventbrite page here.
