Schedule Updated for ProBlogger Training Event
July 23, 2012 By Darren Rowse
This morning the schedule for the upcoming ProBlogger training day was updated in a few areas:
- we added a session titled ‘The Media and Blogging‘ by Sarah Wilson. This session came at the request of several attendees who wanted to learn about getting mainstream media attention for their blog as well as managing the process of these interactions with media (as media exposure has the potential to do as much damage as it does good).
- How to Turn Visitors into Raving Fans – this session will be run by myself (Darren Rowse) and Chris Guillebeau. Chris particularly is well qualified to talk on this issue – he travels the world and everywhere he goes readers of his blog show up to meet him. He’s also run an highly successful annual conference in Portland that sells out in minutes every year.
- we’ve expanded the ‘eBooks‘ sessions on Day 1 to be 2 sessions so we can really drill down into what was a very popular topic last year. Session 1 will focus upon coming up with ideas for eBooks and the writing/editing process. Session 2 will focus in upon taking your manuscript and getting it designed and up on the web for sale. We’ve also moved our ‘Marketing Your Products’ session (with Shayne Tilley) to run directly after session 2 as it will flow on from it.
- we’ve moved a couple of others sessions around time wise and will announce another session for Day 1 and a few more panelists in the coming weeks.
As this post goes live we’ve got just 15 blogger tickets left for October! Grab yours today here. Also due to popular demand we’ve made an attendee badge for those coming to put on their blog if they would like to share that they are coming.
