  • Nice guide, covers a lot of aspects on how to monetize over ads on blogs. Definitely a must read for anyone interested in earning something.

  • thanks darren…

sometimes, we have a problem to choose which plugin that suit for wordpress, but things getting better now…

    good info !

  • Great list of plugins. One of which solves a current problem I was having on one of my blogs. I’m a happy blogger this morning! thank you for sharing.

  • thanks. my frustration is that I am with wordpress.com which doesn’t allow plug-ins. I don’t know if I get enough traffic that I would make anything either. Do you try to get steady readership and then upgrade to your own hosted site and add money generating plug-ins?

  • rjlight – If you put ads on after you have a good readership you will get complaints, and if you have ads from the start people will say you are in it just for the money. There is no winning :P Its one of those things that always has a downside

  • I knew about most of the Adsense ones, but the rest is news to me. Thanks a lot.

  • Good link, thank you.

  • thx for the plugins.

    regards

  • I just realized darren how much you look like ….shoemoney..lol no harm intended. Great post nonetheless

Some good plugins here, a couple of which are exactly what I have been looking for.

The Adsense ones seem to be far easier to find than the others, so this is really useful information. Thanks Darren

  • Interesting article.

Infact, I’ve started a blog recently focusing on how to monitize your sites. Its still very much in its infancy, but I have had a lot of success over the years on making money online and I’m sharing the same with others now.

The site is called Online Presence — http://OnlinePresence.BlogSailor.com/

  • so great! Exactly what I am looking for. THX!

    regards

  • Hi Darren, another great post by you!
Btw, as a newbie, I find this challenging. I know how a plugin looks like but I dont know what’s the name to search for. For example, for after every blogpost, you have a “What Next?” I guess it’s a plugin but what is it called?
I have seen some “Read the rest of the entry here” being replaced with “Read in about 5 minutes, ” etc… I want to implement but dont know the name of this sort of plugins.

  • I hear that there are 6 plugins for WordPress that can be used to start a product review blog but… I’ve tried to do a Google search to find them myself but I only managed to find 1 of them:

    1) The DG Review Site (DGRS) plugin for WordPress

    can anybody help here?

  • ITR

This post has been very helpful to me, thanks!

  • Great list!…Keep em comin.

  • Well, for some wierd reason, my blog doesnt allow me to add plug-ins, so that post turned out to be useless for me :(.

  • Thanks for the hint, Lorelle’s list is one of the most complete and useful ones for sure.

  • I’ll check all the plugins, I hope they really work for my blog. Thanks 4 share Darren.
