The Ultimate Last Minute Christmas Gift for Bloggers

Posted By Darren Rowse 24th of December 2009 ProBlogger Site News 0 Comments

200912241408.jpgIf you’re anything like me you’ve probably left your Christmas shopping to the last minute (as I write this post there are less than 3 hours left til the shops close here in Australia and I still need to get one more gift)!

If you’re still searching for a great gift for that special blogger in your life (or perhaps a treat for yourself) we’re happy to provide you with a solution here at ProBlogger – the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog workbook.

While an e-book is a little hard to wrap I’ve had a lot of readers from both ProBlogger and DPS email me today to tell me that they’ve just bought copies as gifts for family and friends. It’s particularly good because you don’t have to leave your house to get it and there’s no delivery fee – just pay for it and download.

Some are being quite creative in how they give them too with many burning the PDF onto CDs/DVDs so that they’re able to wrap it up. Others are buying them and then forwarding the download link onto the receiver of the gift via an email.

PS: In mid January I’ll be offering a special limited time bonus for all buyers of 31DBBB. I’m not ready to announce it yet but both those who get a copy that week and those who already have at any time in the past will get the bonus. Just a little extra sweetener for buying the e-book – stay tuned.

PS(2): Of course if you’re buying a gift for a photographer – you should look no further than the Essential Guide to Portrait Photography :-)

  1. It’s a great book – I’ve got it a week or so ago and I’m applying everything it teaches to my new blog about acting.

It’s one thing to read free advice and completely another to invest money (even if it’s a small amount) to improve your blog. If you invest money, you show your commitment and if you just get free advice, you show that you are not that serious about blogging success.

  2. I purchased this the week it was released…best investment I’ve made so far in my blogging endeavors. Thanks again, Darren!

  3. That might seem like an impulse buy but its more of an investment in improving your blog and subsequently get a better ROI from your work….great idea worth looking at.

  4. I loved reading this, it certainly helped me a lot. And the most important lesson of that ebook is something that I’ve never expected to learn actually.

I learned that there is no secrets to become a successful blogger. As natural reasons, I expected Darren to include some secret “formula” that would ensure success…but really it is just paying attention to what’s important and persist at it.

Of course that isn’t all there is ;), I recommend everyone who is a blogger to get this, because it simply will bring results.

  5. Looks good! Love the Problogger book!

  6. I’m on day 2 already.

Thankfully you’re not offering 50% off because I would’ve been 2 days late LOL!!!

At least I’ve got your bonus to look forward to.

  7. Looks like a good deal, will check out the book.

  8. Darren Rowse is amazing. excellent gift, i really like that. Darren is really great. i really want to become a pro blogger like Darren. keep it up Darren. all the best.

  9. First time commenter, but I have been following for a long time :D

I love the idea of popping the pdf onto a cd and giving it as a gift, gold!

Maybe they could even print it out, and bind it as a little book – even more special!

All the best for Christmas everyone! xox

  10. hope i can write something like that!

  11. yes, its a great book for anyone who want to learn serious blogging. I bought it last week and still to read it fully.

Just a note though, i would have loved to read the book as hard bound one instead of a soft copy on my system.

  12. I never imagine that ebook will become Christmas gift back then. The era is changed.

  13. Such a coincidence, I recently just considered buying myself 31DB3. I think it’s my first step to blog better in 2010. Any Xmas discount for those who buy right on Xmas? Haha, just in case. ^_^
Wish everyone the greatest holidays ever!

  14. My blog is dying. It’s on the verge of death. Problogger and its members are my last hope. Please don’t let my blog die like this…

  20. Love the book. Will buy in early 2010.

  21. After I read your review I didn’t think that the price was so low. Probably, I’ll buy this product in these days. It will be a better start for my blogs. Great :-)

  22. I’ll be getting this for myself and perhaps one for my sister-in-law. She is a successful blogger, but is always looking to improve. My blog is new, so I need all the help I can get!!

BTW – Thanks for keeping the posts coming – I read them every day!

  23. haha, that’s a very unique gift. Maybe I can download those Taiji and Qigong youtube and burn into cd too.

  24. As if you needed one more testimonial…

Anyone considering getting this ebook to start/improve you blog site go ahead and do it. It’s well worth the small price. Thousands of dollars of consulting won’t get you as good of a “workshop” as this handy book.

  25. in a similar e-books, but I’ve got this so much more beautiful
    exactly what I call you

  26. I think my blog needs a major overhaul. Going to have to read this book when the time comes….

  27. yes, its a great book for anyone who want to learn serious blogging. I bought it last week and still to read it fully.

  28. Thought provoking post. My friends and I were just discussing this the other evening. Also your blog looks good on my old laptop. And thats rare. Nice work.

  29. I never imagine that ebook will become Christmas gift back then. The era is changed…

  30. Im going to coat-tail on what Very Evolved said The way you connect to your audience is Know who you are writing to. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldnt write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.
