  1. I haven’t made it through the whole list, but I love eMom’s article — it’s long and meaty and full of really useful information. I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong.

  2. Did I happen to mention that I am a raving fan of Darren Rowse?

    Thanks. Again. :)

And shucks, Katiebird! Thanks SO much to you too!

  3. Wendy, I got stuck at your sites for an hour! And I didn’t have the time to spare. You’re an amazingly thoughtful communicator.

The wonderful thing about this site: I’ve met some of my best friends through Darren — and he doesn’t even know me!

  4. I found some interesting ideas in the 6 tips link – but I couldn’t really swallow the last one.

No normal intelligent sane man who wanted to stay married would ask his wife to send him emails rather than talk to him when he’s at home.

I wonder if that’s something he’s actually asked his wife or partner to do.

  5. Here’s to some fantastic links for Wednesday!

I’m pleased to see yet another eMoms offering. Great stuff!

  6. yeah – Wendy’s site is one of my new found favorites – think I first really took notice of it after the last group writing project.

Stuart – I found that last one a bit hard too. I can see why it’d work – just not HOW :-) I can’t imagine what V would say to me if I told her she needed to get on skype from the kitchen to talk to me – *shudder* :-)

  7. Thanks for the linkage, D.

Love love love eMom. Never even heard of her until today so thanks for spreading the word.

  8. You like me! You really, really like me! ;)

Seriously though… what a nice compliment from Darren and everyone. Definitely put a big smile on my face :D

  9. TechTalkBlogs: +188 Days…

So TechTalkBlogs has been alive for 188 days, that’s half a year! I am so happy to see this little thing……

  10. […] Working from home? It’s the best thing I’ve ever done! (via) […]

  11. Wow, I love eMoms site — never even heard of it before. I talk/hear from people wanting to start their own home-based businesses every day & am glad I’ve got another great source to refer them to — thanks Wendy & Darren!

And ooh, as far as couples emailing each other to communicate…I’ve met someone that does that. It’s…bizarre, to say the least. O_o But it seems to work for them. Stills seems a little nutso to me.

  12. Great links Darren. The working at home is particularly helpful for us fulltime bloggers.

  13. […] This week has brought a lot of new friends as I’ve followed links from Liz’s SOB lists and Darren’s  Speed links and followed the trails onto eMom’s BlogJolt and other side trips (I even stopped in at my favorite cafe for the first time in ages). I’ve gotten pretty lazy this summer and haven’t done a lot of commenting anywhere but here.  I think the heat sapped my ability to comment-chat and I started worrying that I’d run out of words — use them all up — leaving me with nothing to say here.
