New Blogger Jobs Available (and an Opportunity for those Looking for Bloggers)

Posted By Darren Rowse 10th of March 2009 Blogging for Dollars 0 Comments

Last week I tweeted a question asking my followers how many of them were currently looking for blogging work. The response was overwhelming – literally hundreds of responses within the next hour of people saying that they were in the market for a blogging job either as a full time thing or to supplement their current income.

While not hundreds of blogging jobs there have been quite a few good ones advertised on the Blogger Job Boards in the last week with four new ones in the last 24 hours.

If you’re on the lookout for a blogging job the best thing to do is to subscribe to the Job Board RSS feed and/or my Twitter account – both of which feature all new jobs on the boards.

Looking for a Blogger to Hire?

If you’re in the market to find a blogger to hire you’re in the lucky position to be hiring in a market where there is a lot of choice.

Among the thousands of people subscribed to the ProBlogger Job boards and the 40,000+ people who see them on my Twitter account there are some truly remarkable bloggers.

For just $50 you get the chance to put your job opportunity before them! Place Your Job Here.

  1. Hey Darren,
Thanks for the suggestion, I didn’t even know there was a RSS feed for the job board.

I am going to check and see if anything opens up that suits my interest.

  2. Another ways of making your new visitors into loyal visitors :P

  3. I retweeted this post and then shared it at cliKball and in two rooms at FriendFeed called Hire Me and WhoDoesWhat Recommended Specialists. I periodically post those to Twitter, FriendFeed and cliKball and suspect others do too.

  4. I think I will go take a look at the job board..and subscribe to the RSS.

  5. Within the next year or so, I’ll be looking to hire a blogger for the company I work for.

I’d do the job, but the person has to be interested and work closely in the field of farming, as well as rugged outdoor activities.

I’ll keep the job board in mind when we’re ready.

  6. It’s nice to see such a useful service for those who are looking for freelance (or not so “freelance”) blogging jobs.

And it is also interesting how to use popularity to make a service large since its first day.

    Congrats, Darren.

  7. Never hurts to expand your horizons – for people looking for help and for those wanting to help.

The Job Board is a great approach.

  8. Thanks for the information. I am always open for the right blogging opportunity.

I have subscribed via RSS feed and am following you via Twitter.

    Thanks again!

  9. I always check the board. I am still working on improving my skills since most jobs are quite forward with what they require. That is fine though, I can understand because the quality of jobs posted is also very good!

  10. Hey Darren,
It’s been a while sine I have been on your jobs board, I am also doing some behind the scene hiring right now and looking for guest bloggers, I do have a great offer and would love to get your opinion on it :-) I will post details tomorrow morning on http://www.GuruOfSales.com and will be checking for your response here periodically :-)

    With regards,

  11. Hey Darren, I’m a new blogger. I really need a good job. I just try to joining with TheBuckMaker to make any cash by post. Really appreciated for your refering.

  12. I am a blogger but I don’t want to be hired because I want to be my own master. I want to post about what I like and what I know. This post didn’t really apply to me but still it gave me knowledge of how many people are looking for blogging jobs.
