The gang over at Carsonified has released the following video this week by Kevin Rose talking about taking a web app from 1 to 1 million users.

While the video talks more about web applications and not specifically about blogging – some of the principles that Kevin talks about I think are applicable to blogging.

  1. I actually watched the video from start to finish to my surprise, kevin sure does talk about drinking a lot. Wonder if it’s just a front, part of how he markets himself.

  2. Great post that video is very good long, but worth it. Any tips to get more traffic to our websites is well worth it. Thanks for the video.

  3. Awesome post, I can’t wait to implement it on http://mybumbusiness.blogspot.com

  4. Useful tips but…
It is easier if you blog in english or Chinese :P
BUT! how can u get so many readers if you blog in the language which is spoken by 4 000 000 people?

  5. This is great to suggest. I will use it on my womens social networking site I have started. We can see how it works for the blog section.

  6. We have a blog too! ITs a prayer blog and this may help them there too. Its a good article you have written and I will bookmark it!
    Thanks.

  7. Very Useful stuff here. I did have a comment of sorts. It almost seems no matter how many tips (from the pros) you try, if you are not liked by Google you will never get seen. I know of a company that is relatively close to Google (location wise) and the owners happen to eat lunch at same restaurant as Google big wigs (they chat often). Their website is really not very relevant, but they show up in the #1 spot on Google (with a half as* website). So, I did some research and it seems this is the case in many instances.

  8. Yes, some points are very practical and useful to bloggers

  9. This video is just awesome! great information sharing. Good work mate.

  10. This is really first rate. Can’t wait for new posts from you. Thank you so much for this.
