Thanks Darren for writing about this. It shows that blogging is more and more being recognized as a profession. The way blogging is growing many people like me can now hope of a good career after 1 or 2 years.
Hi, great great blog here Darren!
I have just been given the green light to begin a blog for the magazine that I work for, with the idea being to turn a profit. I suddenly have thirty billion questions, but I will save it to just one – why wouldn’t I go with blogger? I am not a techie per se, but rather just try to keep up with that side of things to further my true goals (I care about content, not bells n whistles).
I ask this question because I notice that most uberbloggers do not use blogspot. What, if anything, is wrong with it? And why is it so often advised to get an independant domain name (without “.blogservice.com” stuck on the end).
Ok so maybe that’s two questions ;)
Sorry – should have searched first https://problogger.com/is-blogger-the-worst-free-blogging-service/
