  1. It’s difficult because most bloggers are new, under a year. Honestly, how many platforms have each tried out? Two?

Most everyone starts out with Blogger, then some bounce to another after a few months. Seems WP takes the prize.

I’d like to know what the opinions are of those who have blogged for a year using ‘each’. Blogger, WP, MT … etc .. that’s if there are any around who are running trials such as that.

We might find out some interesting opinions. Right now it’s like the Mac PC debates (only not as heated). Basically, since the experience levels are so low, it all seems to be what you stuck with after first flush.

I’m WP gal myself, although I have down loaded others with good intentions … but the latest WP update and great press put rest to that idea. Time is of an element, so, why break what ain’t broke?

Curiosity … ah yes … now I remember why I wanted to try the rest.

  2. I’m quite confused, the poll seems to show only “1” for WordPress. I’ve tried Drupal and WordPress, and for strictly blogging, WP is what I preferred, and I know I’m not alone.

  3. I got tired of getting locked out of Blogger (I run my Norton Utilities with some pretty tough security setting to cut down on BS) most of the time when I wanted to log in (or leave comments on other Blogger blogs). And I used some other program at Fortune City which went it went to being a freebie site to a pay site and didn’t include *any* improvements with the bill, I switched to WordPress.com — I only wish I had found WP.com sooner!

Someday when I have a better idea of how I want to design a website to go with my blog, I’ll move to WordPress.org.

I do register my blog name at other sites (ie LiveJournal, Blogger, MySpace, blog.com) though mostly to keep others from doing so.
