Become a Blogger Video Training – Closing Doors to New Members Next Week

Posted By Darren Rowse 30th of January 2009 Blogging for Dollars 0 Comments

I’ve just had word that the popular Become a Blogger training series for bloggers is closing its doors to new members in 1 week.

On 6 February they’ll stop taking on new members to their program. They already have 800 signed up members so seem to feel its best to close to new members to focus upon the community they’ve already grown.

This largely video based training has been helping a lot of bloggers. I know many ProBlogger readers signed up when it first was released in December and I’ve been getting great reports.

The training is video based (and a closed forum) and is centered around a series of 9 modules over six months (each month you get 8 videos):

  1. Get Your Blog Up And Running Fast And FREE
  2. How To Optimize Your Blog For Maximum Search Engine Performance
  3. How To Use Images On Your Blog To Make You Stand Out From The Crowd
  4. How To Create A Different Dimension To Your Blog By Adding Audio
  5. How To Breathe Life Into Your Blog Using Online Video
  6. How To Create Powerful Content For Your Blog, Consistently and Without Fail
  7. How To Create Multiple Streams of High Quality Traffic To Your Blog
  8. How To Use The “X-Factor” Strategies To Put Your Blog Into Super Drive!
  9. How To Make Money From Your Blog

For a taster check out these 10 free videos and their free Roadmap Report which are great resources on their own and a great way to work out if Yaro and Gideon (the guys behind this training) are your cup of tea.

This is not a course for advanced bloggers but as you can see from the list of topics covered it is geared towards those who are about to start out, who have just started out and who want to up their skill set and knowledge on many of the things you need to be able to do to take a blog to the next level.

If those fit with your situation you should check it out and consider the investment going forward into 2009.

PS: Yaro and Gideon offer a 60 day money back guarantee on this course. I’ve had a lot of interaction with both of them and this is actually a genuine offer. If you’re not satisfied in that time – just ask for your money back.

  3. Very cool, I will go take a look, have been pondering about video posts for a couple years, time to pull thumb!

  5. I think BMM is a better course, i have heard lots about it. Seen the BAB videos and they do have something worth learning though.

  6. Have to agree that Yaro and Gideon are doing a great work…….

  7. I don’t think they have any think to add to information “free content” on this blog,
however if their any thing new you can also find for free on other blogs and websites.

  8. Darren you sure are fast with posting this news. Thanks again for your support.

For those wondering how the Become A Blogger Premium program is going, I can tell you this has been the best site I have managed in terms of number of people staying members.

We have a ton of great feedback and a really cohesive and positive group, which is wonderful to experience. It’s not for everyone of course and you really should be on the beginner side of the fence and like video too if you decide to join.

Gideon is working his butt off to make the program great and I’m dishing out some of my best stuff using the video format for the first time, so it’s a really enjoyable process.

I look forward to working with anyone who joins via Darren.

  9. Any information product whether paid or free is effective if only you take the steps to implement it.
When you implement the steps the information proves effective.
I don’t think there is any lack of information that keep people from being successful in online ventures. In fact I think there is enough free information to start the ball rolling.
It is the lack of tenacity that is the cause of so many below average ventures on the net which dwindle to nothing in a couple of months. In fact I think that is true in any new uncharted venture you undertake.
I would rather do one thing 500 times until I have perfected it than try 500 different things and failing in all of them.

  10. Hi there Yaro! I have never thought you would post a reply here inspite of your busy time.

I have learned a lot from you, especially from this video. http://www.blogmastermind.com/video/how.php

If I have enough time and money, I would surely join your club. ^_^ Hope to talk and see you soon! ^_^

    Cheers!^_^

  11. Is it just me, but it looks like a lot of what we find here?

  12. Scott and everyone else – yes it is a lot of what you find here. Darren has a tremendous amount of content and, if you are following his advice and moving forward, getting the results you want with your blog, then you certainly don’t need our training.

The people who join our program want video training. They want it presented in a linear process, do this, then this, then this. They want support via direct content with mentors through private forums and live group teleconference calls.

Let’s be clear, it’s not a dispute about whether Darren, myself or any other blog trainer has quality information we give away for free – we do. What it is about is how you want to study and how you take action. If you need the extra support and the kick in the pants that only comes from investing your own money, that is why our course exists.

If you’re motivated and prepared to put the pieces together on your own, then save yourself the $47 bucks and trawl around the net looking for free answers. That’s what I did until I realized paying money was a better motivator for me and taking structured courses got me results quicker.

    Yaro
