AdSense Problems? – Check out the Known Issues Page

Posted By Darren Rowse 7th of May 2008 Adsense 0 Comments

If you’re an AdSense publisher and are noticing problems with your account (like today when most publishers reports are showing stats that are much lower than normal) then you might want to bookmark the AdSense Known Issues page which is being used by AdSense to update publishers on the issues and problems that they are aware of and what they are doing about them.

  • Thank you for the link! It would be nice if that showed up in the AdSense panel also by itself! I was about to have a heart attack!

  • Yes, I noticed something weird in my account today as well. At first I was thinking it was just a really bad day for AdSense and a really good one for content usage. But when I checked my site stats, thing weren’t adding up. I just checked out the Issues page thanks Darren.

  • Thanks for the link Darren, just bookmarked it. I’ve been trying to track down what was going on all day.

    Thanks again!

  • I did not notice any change in my adsense account. Hmmm may be I am lucky :))

  • Yea, definitely thought something was going on today (and still is). My stats program in wordpress is reporting significantly higher traffic than AdSense and I was starting to worry. Did a little research and apparently things like this happen fairly regularly…or at least there is some delay in AdSense reporting sometimes. No big deal.

  • Thanks for the link, Darren. I was wondering what was up with my stats today, and thankful it wasn’t just me!

  • Thanks for the info, Darren. I’m sure they will solve the issues soon.

  • Noticed it too, but everything seems to be fine now…all the data for the day is back.

  • Earnings really sucked today and i was wondering why!
    Thanks for the help :)

  • Darren, is there anything you don’t provide……

  • no wonder my revenue drop, hope they fixed it soon.

  • I got kicked out of adsense long ago
I want to build up a respectable blog which will have enough traffic to entice adsense to let me back into the game

  • I don’t normaly check my income from adsense daily unless I’m optimizing specificaly to improve adsense returns. Since you mentioned it though I checked into things and noticed exactly what you said – visits way down.

To my surprise however income is way up. I wish I could say more than that but there was a hicup of sorts today for sure… which is why I don’t check daily – it will drive you bonkers!

  • Thanks for posting this, Darren – I spent a large part of yesterday freaking out about why my adsense was only showing a tiny percentage of the usual page impressions/earnings until I finally managed to find out why. Wish I had known about this earlier!

  • Thanks for the heads up Darren.

Keeping an eye out for the Known Issue page.

  • Great to hear i’m not the only one and good to have a link, cheers.

  • Yes I noticed that. I’m receiving $0.02 per click and the only ads showing are: Public Service Ads by Google! How do I rid off of this service? :(

  • I wish I actually made some money from Adsense.

    Live From Las Vegas
    The Masked Millionaire

  • This issue can’t help me. :( May be I’m a loser? :)

  • once again Daren thanks for being on top of this. I noticed my adsense was down but usage was up and your blog was the first place I turned. Low and behold you had an answer…

  • Thanks Darren! I was stumped. Definitely noticed my stats weren’t matching up with what Google Adsense was saying. .

  • Thank for guiding me to the page of known issues regarding adsense. I found this blog post to be an informative one.

  • Yes I noticed that,my adsense very low,thank Darren

  • thanks for good linking….I am still new as ads publisher….need learning more
