Chitika have developed a Facebook Application called iBought that allows facebook users to show off their latest purchases to friends on Facebook for their friends to then rate.
Probably of more interest to ProBlogger readers is the $1 per download referral program that Chitika are willing to pay you for getting your friends to download iBought. $1 isn’t a lot – but if you have a few hundred friends it could be a worthwhile earner.
The first 10,000 downloads of the application get the referral fee – so if you’re going to do it you’ll need to do it fairly quickly as it could go viral pretty quickly.

I am trying to find a chitika program on there that can help me with my own chitika code – I think there is a program out there that I have read in forums – still trying to find the program – but I might have to give this a try as well!!
Right on with the early heads up on Chitika. Darren I must commend you on your recent revamp of the site. I have noticed lots of positive changes you have made and no doubt looking forward to seeing you on the cover of some of the top magazines. Keep going!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have given me a lot to look forward to.
I had no idea.. how cool! Darren could possibly make $10,000 from this post! *=)
Thanks for the heads up though!

What a great “Call to action” I have just written a post on http://stuff4restaurants.com/blog2 about how important it is to grab a readers attention and then move them to a specific action and you produce a great post like this. Thanks I will now link to it as a prime example.
Kindest regards Lindsay
I don’t see why this is an important or worthy application…
I am currently using Facebook too, but I don’t something like this.
Hey Darren,
Great tool to use to monetize your facebook account… I’ll add this now.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reminder on the chitika referral program Darren, very helpful!! :)
Nice idea! I always enjoy showing my friends what I’ve bought in the offline world. Now this is possible with virtual friends as well. Interesting.
Excellent. I’ll look into this too!
