- Zedomax has a post about Blogging as a Tax Deductable Home Business. I’m not sure it applies to every country but in some it definitely will.

- Nick rants a little about why he dislikes the Snap Preview tool on blogs. I have to say that I agree with him. I put it on ProBlogger here as a test and had so many complaints from readers that I took it off again within 24 hours. It really disrupted the flow of the blog.
Zedomax is correct, the cost of internet service and even your phone can be deducted. As long as you use these things for purely business purpposes (i.e only for blogging, and other online businesses).. Here in the U.S, internet service can be deducted, but you can’t have any games on your computer (that’s what my accountant says)… But what if you’re reviewing PC games, then what?
Just ask your accountant for details, these things vary by location.
Yeah, I hate that snap preview thing. Very disruptive to the user experience.
The Snap preview thing has been driving me crazy too. I’ve almost gotten to the point of starting to email the authors of blogs I read regularly who are using it. I really don’t see the point, and I find it unbearably annoying.
I have to agree with raising4boys.com and Mallory… I mean, if there’s a link, I think the author would’ve explained the link in the first place. No one just puts a link to a website for no reason… No need for screenshots thank you
Lifehacker has a piece just out on how to disable Snap – it’s a cookie you can download.
I just tried it on a known Snap offender, and no more irritating pop-ups. Yay.
That Snap preview thingy is seriously annoying – I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks so. The wretched thing seems to appear on every other blog, and I have been scratching my head trying figure out why it is so popular.
I think Nick puts it well in the article Darren links to:
“The fact that so many big blogs are using it, big well respected blogs, does not mean that it’s useful, it just means that they, like most bloggers, have all the self restraint of a magpie in a sparkly things factory.”
For those of you thinking that if they implement this it will eliminate some of the waiting and lines…
have given very good explanation and thanks for sharing….
