AdSense today have added the ability for publishers located in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain to view AdSense reports in Euros as well as USD. They write:
“If you’re located in one of these five countries and make this update, we’ll convert your earnings to Euros on a daily basis using the prevailing market rate from the previous day. With earnings converted daily, you’ll avoid the risk of currency exchange fluctuations between USD and the Euro. You can still choose to receive payments in either Euros or U.S. Dollars and select from a range of payment methods as well. “
There are some new terms and conditions to go along with these changes that publishers will need to agree to.
I wish that they would start paying via PayPal, but at least this shows that they are listening to us…some.
Thanks,
Nate
Interesting, I wonder how that affects the income streams for those that need to convert their revenue to a different currency.

Yeah I also have noticed this one. Seems to me that Google is now doing lots work in this 2009. So many new things in just two months.
Lets see whats other under their sleeves.
Great news but I live in USA so I don’t think this will affect me a lot but I love to be updated about everything so I think that its worth knowing. Great Post and I love your blog and I promise I will always come.
Thank’s Darren

Bloggers wide and far should be give options .
Bloggers are for every part of the globe as such they should be paid in the currency they feel comfortable with. Good move Google.
Well, I’m French and that’s great news, but I really don’t understand why Google pay us in $ or even make a conversion $ -> € because the Europeans advisers pay in Euros their Adwords campaigns…
Incomprehensible.
That’s a good news for me living in Germany.
Good deal finally the adsense love is easier in europe that is great.
In fairness it is about time they did this and I think other currencies should be available too.
As I live in France this has come as some good news.
Thanks for the info, I will email my friends in France that use Adsense. They do not blog full time and may not know of this.
This is really great news, thanks for this update.
It will be much better if there could be some option to let us choose from among a few well-known currencies regardless of where we’re living in the world.
Basically, everyone considers how to convert his/her chosen currency. Maybe the big G is in this process itself and we don’t know yet!
I’m actually surprised they took this long to do it.
Well, this is good news especially to those who need this kind of report.
I agree with Olivier. This makes no sense as long as they force us to pay our adwords campaigns in euros.
I am waiting when Adsense will be available in multi currencies. A good step in the right direction by Google.
i am waiting for google to get around the clock, multi languages (adsense are not supported with our languages if no tweaking for the moment). Also, it surely good if they release more restriction to 4 ads per page.
however, adsense is very very slow for me.

Interesting that people are saying adwords can’t be paid in Euros. I can pay mine in pounds at the moment.
I am from Malta. Our currency is Euro and we are part of the EU. I cannot understand why I cannot be paid in Euros.
Why did they implement it only in 5 countries and not all countries that have Euro currency?
this is good news for publisher in european…..
