Moving Day today – will be otherwise occupied until late tonight – or tomorrow….
Talk among yourselves – consider this an ‘open mike’ – any topic goes (within reason).
Ask a question for others to answer – or answer a question that someone has posted here.
Have fun.
I’ll grab this open mike opportunity Darren!
I’m doing the unthinkable – I’m leaving the Internet behind for 4 days of remote camping and relaxation. Anyone read any good books lately? Any recommendations for something to read that will keep me sane and ward off the computer/Internet withdrawl that always hits hard by day 4? I prefer non-fiction – something to learn.
How long can everyone else go without turning on a computer?
Fiction book that won’t let you down: The Sparrow (by Mary Doria Russel)
Non-fiction book worth your time: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain (it can make your an artist – seriously)
how long without computer: Nearly a full night’s sleep. nearly.
Non-Fiction book recommendations: E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.
All about how to build systems rather than becoming an overworked entrepreneur. Or anything by Robert Kiyosaki [http://richdad.com].
I just got back from a week vacation…in the Outer Banks of North Carolina…I have to confess that I was checking email by midweek, though I wasn’t updating my site or really looking at information that would concern my site.
I tried to read, got about 250 pages of “The Grand Slam” by Mark Frost, a look at golfer Bobby Jones and his heyday of the 1920’s. It’s been great so far. Not soley about golf, there’s alot about what was happening in the world at that time as well.
But while Darren’s busy moving, can’t we tease him behind his back or something? ;-)
You may already have heard about this but, I hadn’t until lastnight.
BlogMap will show you who your neighbor bloggers are, provided they list themselves.
There are only 3 in my area.
Ok, I did something wrong. The BlogMap link should be

Thanks for the book suggestions! I’m looking forward to tracking them down at the bookstore.
Thanks again!
