Are you coming to Blog World and New Media Expo 2009?
I’m really looking forward to being involved again this year. I’m booked to be on two panels already and am looking forward to a load of great teaching but also some amazing networking with other bloggers.
If you’re interested – you can get 20% discount by using the ‘PROBLOGVIP’ coupon code (that 20% discount is on top of any other discount offered on the BWE site).
Last year was my first year off attendance and it was well worth the 24 hours of transiting each way for me to be there. For me the highlight was simply the people I met – suddenly blogging wasn’t an insular experience of me sitting alone in the front room of my house dressed in my PJs (sounds a little more depressing than it is) – blogging suddenly became a whole lot more social and ‘real life’.
The caliber of the speakers presenting this year is again very high – the list includes:
- Chris Brogan
- Steve Rubel
- Brian Clark
- Mari Smith
- Louis Gray
- Dave Taylor
- Chris Pirillo
- Shawn Collins
- Jeremy Owyang
- Jeremy Shoemaker
- Robert Scoble
The list goes on and on (I’ve literally just scratched the surface) and the expertise covers a wide array of topics on many aspects of both blogging and social media.
Speaking of topics – you can see a full 2009 schedule here including speaker names (looks like they still have to add a few of the keynote names).
Again – if you’re attending use the PROBLOGVIP coupon code and you’ll get a 20% discount on whatever BWE have the price currently advertised at on their site.
This is great Darren! The lineup looks absolutely fantastic this year. I am going to see if I can manage to make it. I hope so!
Thanks for all the great advice. You’ve really been a key factor in helping me to find success.
All the best,
R.W.
For those of us that will not be able to attend the expo, will it be broadcast?..
I would love to come even if I wont get 20% discount. So powerful brains under one roof … this is going to be a blast.
I’ve never heard of this, but the line up looks most impressive.
Darren this is the great offer but I am really very sorry.
Man I wish I could go. I already took to vacations this year already, my wife would kill me. Hope every one has fun at the expo.
great post

I would love to take advantage of that if I could. Until then people can come to my website completely free of charge :)
That’s a really long transit time, geesh!
I wish I could attend but, my blog doesn’t produce enough revenue yet, kind of a catch 22, I need the info from the Expo to grow but I can’t afford to go.
Who designed that awful logo.
Wow.. What a place.. Las Vegas, full of entertainment..
But I can’t go. Too far and costy for me.
Would love to go but I will be at and blogging about the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Co. on Sept. 24th.

I would really love to go, but I don’t think I could make it…already booked for something in mid October…
Could you please post like the aftermath report or something after the conference, Darren? Hehe
I know what that 24 hour commute to the States is like–it’s no joke. Wish I could go, but I don’t have the time and money.
I really want to go, but I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to Vegas this year. There’s so much going where I live. That lineup does look amazing though.
Looks like I need to plan ahead for next year!
I would like to go on this event. As a begginer blogger, I would like to learn more about blogging and to learn the dos and donts in blogging.

The place is far far away from my home. But, I can still make money online without it.
How great this info
I really like it
Saw this offer before you posted on problogger deals :)
Thank you for the discount. I have met a few of the speakers I would love to be there but I can’t afford it right now. Hopefully in 2010 I will be there.
I am not in the point in my career where I can attend conferences but if I were… This would be one I would attend. Thank you for always putting discounts on your sites. You totally rock.
Thank you again.
Jamie
Good and cheap offer.
I wish something like this could be set up in the UK, I’d love to go but travelling from UK to US is expensive. :(
If you have other things in your life — family, friends, good productive day work — these can interact with your writing and the sum will be all the richer.
Thanks a lot for sharing about this expo here. This is really great information. i am very excited about this expo. But i am not registered with Blog world. I hope you will share your experiences of blog world media expo with us. thanks.
Good and cheap offer by you
Hey there my friend usually I don’t post on many blogs these days, but I would like to let you know that this post really forced me to do so! Keep up the good work my friend, I love your blog & your style of writing!
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
