Last week I ran a little competition here at ProBlogger asking readers to nominate their favorite blog designs to put them in the running to win one of five copies of Web Design for ROI: Turning Browsers into Buyers & Prospects into Leads.
This has been one of my favorite competitions to watch because the 113 entries unearthed some wonderfully designed blogs (if you’ve got a spare half an hour it’s worth reading through the comments).
I’ve picked the following five winners:
Adam Teece, JamieO, linkerjpatrick, UzBlogger and Jeremy Wilkins. I’ll pass your emails onto the suppliers of the books and they’ll be in touch to get your postal address.
Thanks to everyone for your entries – you’ve given me a great morning of discovering some great blogs.
wow, congrats to the winners, that’s a really good read.
Congratulations to everyone who won. I hope your prize brings more success to you.
Congrats to the winners. Now when is the next contest?
Wow! Your taste is all in your mouth. Sorry but that is just a sorry set of blog designs!
Some great sites indeed, well worth looking through the list.
@MR – Stop on over my way, i have a contest running now.
Anonymous..That’s not the best-design blogs. Those are the winners. They are chosen because their comments that stand out for their value. Duh.
Congratulations to all of the winners.
Chris
Congratulations to all the winners. I missed the competition, but it’s inspiring to look through the nominated entries. There’s some great designs.
Sorry Black Zedd but it is described as a blog ” d e s i g n ” contest. Duh Yourself!
This is really cool. Thanks much Darren. I’ve never won one of these things before, but I decided I would give it a try anyway.
Awesome! Congratulations to all of the winners.
Wow, that looks like a very useful book! Congrats to the winners! *=)
Aw, too bad I was in the midst of chaos and fell behind on my blog reading. My blog just got a new design! Goes to show you should keep up with your reading…
Congrats to the winners!
‘Anonymous’ – this had nothing to do with the commenter’s blog design – but their comments. To be fair about 100 of the comments left could have won as they had a lot of good stuff to say and pointed to some good blogs – but I didn’t consider the bloggers who left the comments ability to design blogs at all (as per my announcement of this competition). This wasn’t ever called a blog design contest – in the announcement post I wrote that I would ‘choose 5 of my favorite comments (ie comments that stand out for their value).’ Perhaps you need to read posts before you make comments.
Congrats to all the 5 winners :)
The blogs are also interesting.
Hey Darren, thank you for the great contest, I’ve found a lot of beautiful designed websites and many other useful resources. Keep up the good job!
Contrats to the winners. Quite Nice.
Thanks you. I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the conversation and thanks so much for the prize. I will certainly put it to good use.
A big congrats to all winners.
Let the spirit go on.
Many congrats to the winners, and hope you enjoy the book. What a fun time it was to check out those blogs! Inspiring.
Darren – Thanks for holding this contest. Very much appreciated.
And to the winners (or anyone else who reads the book) – We’d love to hear what you think of the book. Drop us a line at http://www.WebDesignforROI.com.
Congrats to the winners – although I think it would be quite valuable if we could see some kind of compilation of the comments that helped them win =)
Congrats to all the winners, I guess will now wait for the next one..
Congratulation, but anyway I do not see any special on the design of those sites, sorry…. Maybe I just like something else…
Congrats to the winners….
I just received the book the other day. Still reading it but good stuff so far and I LOVE the way the book itself is designed. It make not only the reading easier but many of the concepts easier to understand.
Congrats to the winners and I’d love to see a segmented design contests so each person could design toward some unique theme.
I’ll plan to pick up the book for tips on my own blog design.
Congrats to all the winners,
