Become a Blogger – a Premium Training Program

After releasing a great free report earlier in the week – Roadmap to Become a Blogger – Yaro Starak and Gideon Shalwick have today released the premium section of their program.

This is for those who want to go beyond the 10 free videos and free report and goes a lot deeper (although the report and videos will give you a great insight into the style and content of this course).

The training is video based and is centered around a series of 9 modules over six months (each month you get 8 videos):

  1. Get Your Blog Up And Running Fast And FREE
  2. How To Optimize Your Blog For Maximum Search Engine Performance
  3. How To Use Images On Your Blog To Make You Stand Out From The Crowd
  4. How To Create A Different Dimension To Your Blog By Adding Audio
  5. How To Breathe Life Into Your Blog Using Online Video
  6. How To Create Powerful Content For Your Blog, Consistently and Without Fail
  7. How To Create Multiple Streams of High Quality Traffic To Your Blog
  8. How To Use The “X-Factor” Strategies To Put Your Blog Into Super Drive!
  9. How To Make Money From Your Blog

This course is probably not going to rock the world of advanced bloggers – but if you’re about to start a blog or are in your early days of doing so then this is an investment in your blogging education that you’ll want to consider.

Yaro and Gideon are great teachers, the content is solid, they’ve been successful in building their own blogs (particularly Yaro) and the course covers a great spectrum of useful topics.

Bonuses

There are also a series of bonus – some of which expire in the next 24 hours after the initial launch of the program. The non time specific ones are:

  • a 10 part audio series called ‘master the mindset’
  • forum membership to a members only area
  • members only teleconferences

The 24 hour bonuses are:

  • “How To Use The Power Of Video To Market On The World Wide Web” – training and extra videos on this topic (this is the one I’m interested in – Gideon makes beautiful videos)
  • “How To Boost Critical Conversion Points In Your Blog Business” – a teleconference with Will Swayne

What does this Investment Cost?

The cost is a lot cheaper than other blogging courses going around (including Yaro’s own BlogMastermind) and is currently $27 a month for the six months that the course runs. This price is set to go up to $47 a month after the first week (on 11 December) so if you’re going to sign up you’ll save yourself $120 by doing it this week.

As with all Yaro’s products – this one has a money back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied you can get your money back within 60 days.

  1. Is anyone else tired of hearing ‘the same people’ releasing the same ‘make money by blogging’ content across ALL of my blog feeds. After Darren posts about it, John Chow posts next, then eventually we’ll see CopyBlogger do the same post and again on Performancing

  2. @Four20

I would have to agree. I’ve seen this program everywhere I go on the internet. I’ve been getting e-mails from lists I am subscribed to all selling the same thing. It is getting really, REALLY, old. It’s worse than seeing the same infomercial on every channel during late night television.

  3. I can understand your frustration on this. It’s something that I have been grappling with too. On one hand the information gets sneezed out in many places – but on the other hand it’s a topic that is highly relevant for what this blog is about (a blog about blogging… and this is a course for bloggers).

As a result I post about it but try to keep the information balanced, relatively brief and mixed in among other posts that are practical and useful.

In actual fact I get pitched to promote courses like this most days and only go with around 5-10% of them because I don’t want this site to become overrun by them.

All that said – I take your comments on board and thank you for your honest feedback.

  4. To a certain extent, I agree with TECHeGo and Four20. sometimes it can get unbearable, reading emails to promote a fellow business associate’s product. Which is one reason, I do not subscribe to Internet marketing emails. When it comes to the blogging world and Internet marketing tips, I just visit Darren’s and Yaro’s web site every two or three days to what is going on in the industry.

Any ways, I have decided that I will be purchasing a membership
to Yaro’s Become A Blogger Premium tomorrow. After reading
the total cost, I felt it was extremely affordable (btw, I never read Internet marketing sale pages, there is just not enough hours in a day to read about the benefits; I just go to the bottom to check out the sales price to see if it’s affordable).

I have been trying to build a successful web site since late 2004. I was well on my way, when my web site was averaging 20,000 unique visitors per month and I was signing up 150+ email subscribers a day with various email lists, which got to a total
    of over 18,000 unique emails.

But then I did something stupid…I decided to change the outlook
of web site, because I saw my industry was changing so I hanged
my DOMAIN NAME to reflect this (yes I know I am an idiot). So
my unique visitors went from 20,000 a month to less than 3,000.
The good thing is, my combined email lists are now hovering around over 13,000 unique emails. During this time I was trying to
change my static web site into a social networking web site.

My mistake was, instead of trying to create a social networking
web site, I should have converted my web site into a full fledge blog, which is what I am going to start doing in February of 2009. Why am I mentioning this story? Because I still feel getting some blog education is important. I wanted to purchase Yaro’s Blog Mastermind and Chris Garrett’s Authority Blogger training programs, but I just did not have the money. The Become A Blogger Premium seems to fit the bill. Based on my experience, I may know some of the strategies, but I want to have some addition education for 2009, to push my web site (and soon to
    be blog) to new heights.

Darren, thanks for recommending Yaro. BTW, I will be using your
affiliate link when I join his Become A Blogger Premium program,
    so you can say CHA-CHING!

  5. I can understand their frustration too, but how do you decide which blogs about blogging are not allowed to promote a relevant course?

If a blog or list does nothing but promote stuff you’ve heard about already, you can drop it. Otherwise, if it provides value and you want to stay subscribed, you have to expect to see some redundant pitches.

  6. i think its cheaper cost for become great blogger. some of you should give a try first.

  7. This blog caters to those who are at various stages of their career.

A good friend of mine loves blogging but is clueless about many of the technical aspects. I originally directed her to twitter, and then to this website :) Its people like her who can really benefit from such recommendations, as she doesn’t read any MMO blogs.

Of course, I’d already told her about the course (as well as the problogger book.)

The only place I’ve really gotten sick about hearing it is on twitter. I’m only following 52 people so there has been a fair bit of noise ;)

Personally, such promotions irk me but I take it as part of the blog. You provide really solid and, at times, sensational content. I’m willing to go out of my way to purchase through your link so you can continue to write great content.

In regards to the blog post –

I listended to the Master the Mindset series as part of Blog Mastermind and they are great :) Yaros a good guy and yes, his teachings have helped me become a better blogger.

You can learn a lot of this by trail and error, but it saves time learning it via a paid course. I believe that many bloggers leave money on the table by not investing in their online education. It can really accelerate their blog growth.

  8. Yaro knows his stuff, and can guide a beginner to better utilize resources and organize a plan for success, but it does cost $$ and for some of us, money is a problem. If you have the patience to delve though all these posts, you can learn about all you need

  9. Woah! This stuff sounds cool. I’m downloading the report right now. :-)

  10. yes, money is a big problem,
…..and for some reason it just feels good
to blame it on George Bush

  11. Why so many people are whining? Good product is going out, and people recommend it. Was you whining when most of the blogs pronounced that Barac Obama was selected as a President of USA?

It’s your turn to buy it or not. You can at least give it a try. If you won’t like it, you can ask for refund. So people, what’s the problem?

So stop whining, cause, I believe, you can whine about sponsor adds that are the same through all the blogs about MMO.

  12. This is good news for new bloggers those want to become professional blogger. But is it really worthwhile?
    Oh great !
    Try to learn here.

  13. One of the key points to blogging is exclusivity in information. It may be better to offer a program on one blog only for a few wks/months and then open it to others. Also, you could offer the program to many site but WITH SPECIFIC DIFFERENT ADDITIONAL OFFERS. this way visitors will fight to see who has the better deal or what’s different about it.

It would bring about buzz b/c tweets would tweet about what they found and bloggers would blog about what they found.

Hey does anyone want to sign up for my class?

  14. One should consider this if one can afford to pay for it. And also there’s no wrong anyone promoting it, since the basic aim is to earn some money helping others.

  15. That’s a bit pricey isn’t it? And let’s face it. That’s a lot more money than the typical blogger will make off their blogs.

  16. This isn’t going over too well. Or is it?

  17. Yes. That’s true. There are many people who promote Become A Blogger and I’m one of them : )

I guess if it’s a good product and will help people, I should promote it, but I also want to be honest in promoting products or services. That’s why I suggest people NOT to get Become A Blogger Premium if the don’t meet a certain requirements. I’m not gonna waste my time writing it here because I already wrote it on my blog.

  18. Yaro and Gideon provide some good tips for the beginner blogger for free in their reports, so this will still benefit those who happen upon this post. It is true that there is a lot of beneficial information for FREE all over the net, and amongst Darren and Yaro’s blogs. Yet there are those who can afford it, and wish to cut to the chase, perhaps not wanting to take the time to delve through all the available information and tips. This is where blogging affiliates come in, and provide a much needed service.

  19. There’re so much free information on the net these days, then why do you have to pay for the same free information again? A little bit of research is what you need.

  20. To tell the truth, I’m a little skeptical about this. About a year ago I bought a “package” that promised to teach me how to build traffic but it turned out to be just a couple of tips I had already known through google. I was never able to reach the author because his mailbox was full all the time!

  21. Nice article. I don’t think i need to join this training course . simply because i am doing very well with my blog for the time being .

  22. I think that looks very interesting, I might have to give it a try!

  23. I’m fed up of hearing about how wonderfully successful Yaro is. Yes, I’m sure he’s a God amongst bloggers but I think he’s in danger of becoming over exposed (chilly!)

Not every one in blogging is there to make mega bucks.

Super rich bloggers tend to lose some of their humanity along the way and this shows in their postings.

The message of make more money, money, money is not the greatest one to deliver when half the world is starving!

It’s all becoming rather boring, yawn.

  24. Contesteer says: 12/10/2008 at 9:31 am

I find this course, bit pricey.

  25. most people especially for begginer will be happy to hear this news……..good apportunity……thanks

  26. Not really a great program.

  27. @blog expert….why do you say that it isn’t a great program?

  28. May this will be an interesting news to me, I will check it soon, hopefull I become success blogger. But I were really blogger that not success yet :D

  29. Yaro really does have some great tips on blogging. I have seen his blueprint that he wrote. His course is a little higher than what I want to spend but if you have the money it is well worth it. Thanks Darren for sharing.

  30. Nowadays to become a blogger is very easy but to become a popular one is very hard.

  31. I think price a little high to learn blogging. There is a lot of related information on the internet. You just have to choose what works best. Making a readership is tough though.

  32. the probleme is how to choice the subject of the blog
for istance my blog is about mobiles and there are many blogs and sites about it. Its very hard to get trafic
    thanks

  33. Excellent content here and a nice writing style too – keep up the great work!

  34. I’m extremely new to bloggin and loving it.

From where I sit, I have two roads that I can go down…….

    a) I can research and trial and and error my own ‘methods’ and tactics.

    b) I can use tried, tested and proven methods already used by people like this Yaro fella!

For $47, I think I’ll go option b) as my time is worth a lot to me and I can’t bothered playing the hit and miss game for the next 6 months…

nb: I’d love to have a blog coach – if such a thing exists?

    Cheers,
    Paul

  35. im new to blogging also..i love it though

  36. Hi,

I’ve also seen the program literally everywhere. But oh well, sometimes we have to bear it.

As for the product, Yaro has been an amazing blogger over the years. So, that speaks for all other things. Once you build a rep, you’ll most probably have people’s belief over you on other things, unless you miserably screw up one of your products.

    Cheers!

  37. That sounds great – Yaro does some great stuff and I am sure this will be no different.

  38. I can relate to this ! , I’ve heard some goody things about this blog ! I bookmarked it on my favorites and will visit it again for more interesting posts like this one, Thanks
