Jen points out that AdSense have added a new 200×200 ad unit size for publishers.
I always love it when they add a new ad size as it presents new possibilities.
The 200×200 ad unit is called ‘Small Square’ and is available in both text and image ads. Here’s examples of how they look in terms of size.
They look like being a handy size actually – probably will sit well in a lot of sidebars.

Another possibly good place to put that ad is an inpost entry, floated to the left or right.
I like that these ads don’t look much like ads(at least they wont for some time) and it is very easy to integrate them to your site.
Nice and good locking indeed. Anyway I’m awaiting from google to come with a custom ad format :)

They are okay allright, but the half banner already is quite good. This 200×200 box is bit high in some purposes. Perhaps it’s just me thinking :)

I love the size. It is a great size for many different places on our blogging network. I do hope that YPN gets on the ball and starts getting some new things going soon.
