Posted By Darren Rowse 11th of January 2008 Pro Blogging News 0 Comments

I don’t announce the launch of too many blogs (I like to see the runs on the board first) but today a blogger who is very dear to ProBlogger launched her second blog.

Anywired Header

Yes Skellie (ProBlogger’s first staff writer) has just launched Anywired.

It’s a blog with the tagline – ‘work online, work anywhere, live free’ and will be a blog for anyone who works through the web (freelancers, entrepreneurs, bloggers, webmasters, telecommuters etc).

Skellie has launched with three great posts that will give you a taste for the blog:

This will be one to add to your RSS feeder – here’s the RSS feed.

  1. It’s a mistake to promote a blog before it has a decent body of posts. It’s too hard to look through it and see if it’s worth a subscription.

IMHO, you’d be doing the Anywired blog a favor if you waited and repeated your promotion in 3 months, when there’s a decent queue of posts for a visitor to read.

  2. Just had a look and the content looks good.

  3. Thanks for the heads up!
Tips & Infos in that regard are always welcome and I instantly subscribed :)

  4. The blog look good, I hope you success Skellie!

  5. We’re all now looking forward to the best advice that we can get from the professionals!!! thankyou!

  6. I enjoy Skellie’s writing, both on her blog and Problogger.

She is a glowing example of what one can achieve if one is committed towards blogging and is an (in her own words) audacious blogger!

I am pretty sure this blog is gonna be quite successful!

All the very best Skellie! And Thanks for letting us know Darren!

  7. Good setup.Looking forward to great posts from this new site.Wishing you all the best Skellie

  8. I’m looking forward to visiting the new blog. I’ve really enjoyed reading Skellie’s posts since she started writing on Problogger.

  9. Thanks for the heads up, Darren. I’ve been weeding out some of my feeds, but, from what I’ve seen of Skellie and her writing, this one will be a keeper. Should be some great quality!

  10. skellie is few of those lucky people who make real good friendship online and I know she deserves that considering that she is such a great writer..

good luck skellie with your new venture..

I need to read what difference will be there between your first blog and this..both seem to be from the same niche..or I am missing something?

  11. Thanks for the boost, Darren. Skellie, I’ve enjoyed your work on Problogger and I couldn’t be happier to see a new blog in this ‘space’ … our goals and mine match up very well, I’m having fun showing seniors and retirees how they can empower their retirement with online income, rather than whining and waiting for the axe to fall … good on you, I’ll be right over.

  12. Skellie’s prodigious (and always high quality) writing reminds me of myself in 1996-7. :)

I didn’t come close to ‘burning out’, but paused to take stock and then leverage writing into something more sustainable and profitable. Probably taking this step is Skellie’s own move in that direction.

    All success
    Dr.Mani
