- One of my favorite blogs, Slacker Manager, has just been sold (to b5media) and it’s old owner (brendon) is looking for a new author. A great opportunity to take over the writing of a very established blog with a sizeable readership (over 8000 RSS subscribers).

I think I should go back and read your posts about converting readers to subscribers ;-) I’ve been having a lot of traffic in the last couple of months and my RSS are just creeping up.
About newspapers, that is an interesting conversation. I like the distinction made on definitions. Not long ago, I talked about the new role of media http://www.conversationagent.com/2007/04/media_as_connec.html
Quick question to you and your readers:
How do you transition a popular blog? How do you divorce the voice that made it popular from the blog successfully? Isn’t the blog successful *because* of the blogger?
Thanks for the link love Darren!
It’s an honor and a privilege to be featured on your site…
Keep up the good work
Great links, but I just wanted to let you know that you have a typo:
“Does Monestizing your blog…”
I’ve got to add that WordPress tee to my wish list along with a Google tee I’ve been meaning to get! :)
btw. Thanks so much for the Blogging Groove posts, I’ve been trying to follow along every day and today I did a pretty long review post (a little behind but it’s there) :)

Bah, I have too much red in my wardrobe already :(
Thanks for the second interesting link about Gains vs. Value. Some discussions can help us to improve our blog.
I like speedlinking. I’m not sure I have seen it before, but it looks like a great way to make a content-filed post concisely.
Thanks for the wordpress t-shirt link reminder – few of us placed our orders last nite – can’t wait to receive them and publish them in our blogs!
Thanks for the great list of links. I will definetly read through all of them. It is nice to find a compilation of the webs best blog posts.
