Darren at Problogger has also pointed out Kevin’s thoughts, because Darren knows that other than developing your own compelling original content, linking out to other relevant bloggers is critical to growth. Hi Darren,
Thanks for the link :)
Thanks for the resources, Darren. I find them very helpful and have bookmarked some of them. Keep it up!
Daniel
I just registered for AutoPinger and installed the ping button on my site in the sidebar. Looks like a much easier way to ping than the other resources I was using. Check it out if you get a chance.
I’d like to just honestly ask: do Chitika ads generally do better than adsense on most blogs??
I ask because I keep hearing more about Chitika, especially in reference to blogs, and it sounds like the better-earning blogs are using Chitika and Adsense or just Chitika, and Darren seems to like them as well.
I have a blog that I can get, probably, 3000-7000 unique visitors from every day, but it’s not very targeted traffic, fairly general, and so is the content which means adsense has a hard time being relevant and I end up with bulimia/anorexia ads because I’ve got a video clip of a food commercial on my site.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew
Andrew – tough one to answer. They do better on some blogs and worse on others.
I find on my product related blogs they do best (ie gadget blogs) while on a blog like here at problogger they don’t perform very well.
General traffic probably wont do as well with chitika, but then with adsense it’ll have problems too :-(
Hi,
How can I participate in the Speedlinking program and have my articles posted on it? Please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for that link to my post on blogging about competitors Darren. Your audience is huge so anytime you link to something it’s apt to generate some good discussion. In this case it did.
Stay well.
