- Matt from Chewing Pencils has a great post for those aspiring to be Pro Cartoonists’ that I think is completely relevant for those of us who are (or who are trying to become) ProBloggers. It’s titled The Most Important Tip of All (warning – does contain ‘nudity’ – but is safe for work) and is a great reminder of the importance of finding balance between family and freelance life.

Thanks for the links. I use Google Analytics from some time and it is great.
The logo tweak is also cool.
I like that web 2.0 logo maker :)
Thanks for the tips.

Darren, care to tell us why you removed your sites from Google Analytics and what you use instead?
Patrick – I found it was slowing down my site (along with too many other javascripts).
I also found it such a comprehensive program that I didn’t end up using it at all (it was quite slow running and just didn’t fit in my daily rhythm of looking at my stats).
I now use sitemeter for quick daily stats, performancing’s metrics for more comprehensive reviewing and 103bees for analysis of search engine performance. Between them I tend to get everything I need.
To be honest I don’t look at my stats anywhere near as much these days.
That logo looks pretty good. I think its the gg’s that make it work.
