Darren, thanks for hosting this great group writing project. Unfortunately my name came out a bit wrong. If you could correct it I would be very thankful.
apologies there Daniel – you had me wondering for a minute there which part of your name I might have misspelled! :-) Should be fixed now.
Hi Darren.
Another possible project would be is “What I have learned from bloggin”? Or have you already made a similar one in the past?
Best new blogging moments then.. having my link @ ProBlogger :)
I didn’t want to go through the sign-up, so I thought I’d just mention some ‘why blog?’ points here, most of which have prob. been covered in the links above (and in thousands/millions? of posts on the net)
– information/personality exchange. It’s a social thing, so let your personality show. If you are promoting a product/service, avoid over-hyping yourself.
– one blog per topic. I think mixing different topics in a single blog confuses readers. This requires some planning and extra commitment.
– don’t just rehash/redistribute information available elsewhere: at most, link to it. Analyze the information and present your view on it.
A lot of quality links there, nice content, and most of them are really worth a read, at least I learned stuff by doing so.
Is there a poll where people can vote for the submissions ? Is there a selection after ? A top 5 or something, and do they get any type of “reward” ?
