If you’re an Adsense publisher you might notice a message like the following one on your Reports page after the next time you log in.
‘Learn how to improve the performance of your Google ads with our new optimization tips page! To be considered for personalized optimization tips, email us at [email protected] with “Optimization Request” in the subject line.’
It looks like they are starting to roll out a system of giving advice for not only the top ‘premium’ publishers but the rest of us too. This is a smart move for all concerned and another example of how Google are offering new features in the lead up to Yahoo! entering the contextual advertising market.
I’ve emailed them requesting personal optimization tips and will let you know what I find.
Hi, Great website with lots of useful information. Question for you…
What do you make of googlepex.com? is it worth it?
Blog coaching – next business rip off?

Well, that would be intersting…hope it won’t take them too much to reply you…
It is going to be interesting to see what you get in reply.
I will apply for tips too.
NightWriter – that googleplex site seems quite cheap and nasty. It doesn’t go into any details of how they give you more traffic or what is required from your end.
I don’t like traffic exchange programs because the traffic they give you is generally not good quality.
The testimony that they have on the page seems very suspicious – saying that it increased their CTR – I don’t know how them sending more traffic would do that.
I’d give it a miss and build your blog’s traffic the old fashion way – write quality content, optimise your site for Search Engines and give it some time.
I will have to agree with Darren, NightWriter. The page in question leaves me highly skeptical. A lot of sites that claim such things are often poorly designed, and leave you wondering how proffesional it can be; but this is on another level.
Look at all the sites selling AdSense e-books; they look like crap to say the least. But at least with those sites they still have a certain level of proffesionalism. This site looks just too shady.
And another thing that leaves me in the dust, is if the company behind this is so good at generating traffic towards sites. Why do the have the Alexa rank that they do; should be much higher than that. I know Alexa truly provides no statisitcs of real value, but anyone can acheive a higher rank on Alexa compared to theirs, if they work on it.
As for increasing your CTR…unreasonable. Unless something shady is going on behind the scenes. In fact more traffic is more likely to drop your clickthrough rate than raise it. Think of when you first start a site, low visitors with people clicking ads = higher CTR. Higher traffic with the same amount of people clicking ads = lower CTR.
Ive seen this too, seems to be triggered if your adsense account delivers above a certsin threshhold.
I think its prolly more related to optimising the placement and design of ads themselves rather than any specific advice on page optimisation – although it would be nice to read a ‘Dear rob, perhaps u should consider reducing the kw frequency of x in the fist paragraph and putting in an italicised Hn tag here and there..’ somehow, I doubt it. :-)

I know it seems sketchy but googleplex has increased my adsense revenue. You have to surf, open 8-10 sites/day and click on an ad. Then the rest of the time is just auto-surf. I’m making about double the revenue I was before googleplex.

Did you ever get a response from Adsense? I was looking everywhere in your site for a post on your results. Do you know if they still offer that service?
