This plugin is a tool we use on Digital Photography School. It allows you to enter a collection of flickr image URLs, it will then upload them to your own server, resize them, insert them into your post with a link and caption as required by flickr. Here’s an example of a collection post on dPS using the Flickr Suckr

It saves the files locally (no more broken images if it’s removed on flickr)
It takes care of links and captions for you
This plugin will allow you to important any flickr URL, but it will warn you if you are linking to an image not in the creative commons area.
How to use this plugin
Using this plugin is easy. First upload and activate as normal on WordPress. Then in a post or page select the flickr icon.
Then page the flickr image urls in the Lightbox. You can paste as many as you like one line at a time.
Once you are done click Submit and the plugin will begin downloading , captioning and linking.
