In 2005 I was a part of a small group of successful bloggers from around the world who put their heads together to explore a simple question:
What could we achieve if we combined our blogging efforts?
The answers were positive and as we looked out experiences, skills and past achievements we realized that we’d be crazy not to work together – b5media was born.
The b5media blog network was launched in September of 2005 with a small number of blogs written by a handful of bloggers but has since grown into a new media company with over 260 blogs written by over 100 bloggers from around the world.
Our blogs are clustered into 14 different verticals (channels):
Artis and Design, Beauty and Style, Business, Celebrities, Entertainment, Family and Relationships, Home and Dining, Music, Science and Health, Sports, Team Blogs, Technology, Travel and Culture and Video Games.
My role in the company is VP of Blogger Training and I also sit on it’s board as a Director. You can see the rest of the b5media team here.
