I’m back from our few days away. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes for our little break. It was a nice time away although we had some pretty below average weather and I’ve come back with the flu unfortunately.

- WordPress.com now allows domain registration and mapping (so now you can use WP.com as a platform on your own domain for $10 per year or $25 if you need a new domain) – very very cool – watch out TypePad!

- Zero Boss has a good review of the MyBlogLog (aff) service (which has updated significantly since my own previous reviews of them.
- Paul Stamatiou has a quickie tutorial on how to embed a Flickr Slideshow on your blog
- Six Apart launched Vox to the public.
- Do you want to add a job board to your blog (like mine)? You might like to check out the free JobCoin service that will help you do it.
- Adrian wrote a post on how he’s culled his RSS News Reader list by 40. It’s interesting to get an insight into how people decide who to subscribe to (and unsubscribe) – how do you make those sorts of decisions?
- The first (that I know of) Blogging Scholarship ($5000) is up for grabs.
- Steve writes a post on Leaders and Loser in the blogopshere
