As a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience working online, I have honed my skills in various areas that have helped me achieve remarkable results. One of my most notable accomplishments was creating one of Australia's most popular parenting blogs, Planning With Kids, which received over 100K visitors per month at its peak.
In 2011, Wiley published my book, Planning With Kids, which is based on the blog. The book received excellent reviews and has been widely recognised as a valuable resource for parents looking to manage their family's time and schedules effectively. The experience of writing and publishing a book taught me the importance of attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and adapting content to different formats and mediums.
During my years working online, I have mastered the art of creating successful email campaigns and automations that to generate income and increase brand awareness. With my in-depth knowledge of various email marketing platforms and their functionalities, I can expertly craft emails that resonate with subscribers and convert them into loyal customers.
I understand the importance of search engine optimisation (SEO) in driving organic traffic to a website, and I have proven experience in creating SEO content that ranks high on search engines. Additionally, I worked as part of the Problogger team, where I created specifically target productivity content for the Problogger website and helped organised the Problogger Conferences.

Experience
As a remote team member with a small budget, my role was instrumental in organising the largest annual blogging conference in the Southern Hemisphere. Key responsibilities included assisting in the design of the conference format, researching and sourcing speakers, working with speakers to determine content and logistics, and undertaking various organisational and planning tasks. I also created targeted content for the Problogger blog on productivity and analysed a post-event survey to further improve the attendee experience. Achievements included presenting to audiences of over 200 attendees and helping small businesses grow their businesses through blogging.
As the founder and sole content creator of Planning With Kids, an online resource for parents to help manage family life, I was responsible for end-to-end business operations. This includes content development, social media and community management, product development, event management, and digital marketing. Key responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies, engaging with readers and managing online communities, creating sales funnels to drive the customer journey, and analysing data to further grow subscribers. Achievements include the publishing of the Planning With Kids book by Wiley in 2011, over 650 paid members to online courses, and a subscriber base of over 12K to the weekly newsletter. Planning With Kids has achieved high search engine rankings for long tail keywords, with one blog post created in 2012 still receiving over 80K organic unique visitors from Google in 2022.
