Needs to hire 2 Freelancers
About The Role:
We're looking to add 1-2 writers to produce 3-5 pieces of content per week on an ongoing basis for content related to foundation repair, basements, and crawl spaces and geo-specific blog content. We're making a big effort to only hire writers with foundation repair experience, so if you're knowledgeable on topics related to housing foundations we have a long term project with lots of content to be created.
This role will also include writing content specific to US cities, geographies, and regions of the US. Articles like "What Do New Residents In Nashville, TN Need To Know About Foundation Repair Costs?", "Denver Neighborhoods That Are Most Susceptible To Foundation Cracks", "Top 10 Cities With The Most Expensive Slab Repairs"

What We're Looking For:
We're looking to hire 1-2 writers who can contribute a minimum of 3-4 articles at 1500 - 1800 word per post per week (so about 8,000 words per week) about foundation repair topics.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is/was a foundation repair expert (high-quality writers will still be considered w/o this specific experience)
- Understands housing foundations and the nuances that go along with the trade of foundation repair, crawl spaces, and basements
- Can be flexible and adjust to the needs of the business quickly
- Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
- Is tech savvy (i.e., understands Google docs, wordpress, etc)
Compensation:
Budget ranges from .03/word up to .15/word depending on experience of the writer.
Average article length will be 1,500 words with some 2,000 word articles and the occasional 4,000 word in-depth guide.
Do You Need To Have Experience With Foundation Repair?
Yes, it is required that you have experience. Again, high-quality writers will still be considered, however preference will be given to writers with niche experience.
We have a high editorial standard to ensure the content produced meet and exceeds the expectations of our readers through "actionable insights" our readers can take away as value for consuming our content.
