About The Role:
We're looking to add 1-2 experienced editors to edit articles and manage content production for multiple websites in the contracting and home repair niche. Our editorial team consists of in-house writers and outsourced writing from a content agency. We publish hundreds of articles per month and need someone who can work efficiently, but not cut corners on quality. If you have editing experience, are detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment we have consistent, long-term work available.

What are we looking for?
We need 1-2 editors who can work under our Senior Editor to edit hundreds of articles per month, manage in-house and outsourced writers, and learn our project management system.
You will be editing articles about plumbing, air conditioning, tree removal, and other common home repairs. We only publish high quality, well-researched articles and it will be your responsibility to ensure that our quality parameters are met.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is a native English speaker with written English proficiency
- Has a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Can be flexible and adjust to the needs of the business quickly
- Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
- Is tech savvy (i.e., understands Google docs, wordpress, etc)
Compensation:
Pay will be based on a "per article edited" basis or hourly depending on experience. Our editors are able to edit 40-60 articles per day.
Average article length will be 1,500 words with some 2,000 word articles and the occasional 4,000 word in-depth guide.
