Focussing on Project Management this course included a 9 month theory module around how to manage projects and then a 3 month period in which to write a Dissertation applying the theory to a practical scenario.

As well as achieving a Merit Pass in this Diploma, my Dissertation, entitled Tug Of War, was presented to the Executive Management Team in the company I worked for at the time (Stratex Networks) It's findings, related to cross functional management of issues critical to the company's business, were adopted across the company and in use to this day.

Introduction to Management Principles including management of all aspects of business such as; People, Processes, Customers and Finance

In depth technical course covering a range of theory and practice including; Maths, AC and DC Principles, Telecommunications and Micro-Processor programming.

Wrote and delivered several Workshops and Presentation for Webresearch at the Field Services Europe Conferences. Subject Matter related to the best use of 5G Technology in the Field services Sector.

Producing poetry to order for any occasion from customer profiles. Subject and style ranged from romantic Wedding Poetry to lighthearted and comic Birthday poems.

Presented my Dissertation for the OU Diploma in Management to the CEO and Executive Staff of Stratex Networks (Telecommunications Manufacturer). The article was entitled ‘Tug Of War’ and considered coordination of staff across different disciplines and departments to resolve critical issues

Published as Runner Up in Oxfam’s International Cut Conflict Poetry Competition (1998)
