I am a journalist and communications professional with a keen eye for detail. I am a highly motivated individual with the ability to quickly adapt to new and changing environments and can truly create content regarding any topic. In my work, I am deeply passionate about content creation and intriguing storytelling that insightfully connects with audiences. In my career thus far, I have worked for some of Australia's most respected news organisations, the ABC and SBS. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in audio-visual content creation and documentary storytelling.
Education
In my university studies, I have produced a wide range of written and digital journalistic content. I know my way around a story and can come up with new and innovative ways to write about any subject.
Experience
At SBS I worked with the Dateline production team across all areas of the production process. I assisted reporters in researching stories, writing and creating visual content for digital and social media channels, and worked on scriptwriting, video editing and filming for television. In addition, I created my own pitches and helped with crew booking arrangements for fieldwork.
At ABC Radio Brisbane I worked with the mornings team and assisted in finding and researching stories for the morning broadcast. While on air I worked with the executive producer and producers in managing the call and text lines and screening callers for talk-back segments. Role Responsibilities/Skills

As a student ambassador for The University of Queensland, I travel across Southeast Queensland visiting high schools and attending expos where I interact with students, parents/guardians and other members of the community to provide information about UQ’s program options and the various aspects of life as a university student. I assist with writing marketing copy and creating reports regarding student recruitment trends.
At 4ZZZ I was responsible for researching, writing and presenting hourly morning news bulletins live on air. From July 2023 to January 2024, I assisted in training new interns coming into the newsroom. Throughout my time at 4ZZZ, I presented over 100 morning news bulletins to the Brisbane community.
