I am a current Second Grade Teacher changing course and focusing on my first love: Writing. I began creative writing as a teenager, edited peer and TA papers at Brown University where I received my B.A. in Anthropology, pursued a medical degree for two years before leaving Medical school to pursue teaching, which I then left for ten years to stay at home with my three children. I have worked in real estate development and in school administration, both of which required efficient communication, press releases, newsletters, and a high level of organization. Now as a full time teacher, organization has been key; I am a type-A perfectionist and I pride myself on never missing a deadline. I work well with a team, have excellent leadership skills, and have a broad skill set and background. I am excited to step forward into this dynamic career.
