Description
We're looking for an amazing writer who is also social media savvy to to do long-term work-for-hire blog posts and social media content (instagram captions, instagram reel concepting and engaging insta story content) on an on-going basis. Applicants must have significant experience in blog / article writing with strong demonstrated aptitude for infusing smart, comedic flair. Articles will be written in all areas of fashion, beauty, motherhood and lifestyle and must be equal parts informative and entertaining. Writing should show lots of personality and a great sense of humor while never including any sexual content, political bias, or profanity.
We’re looking for a long-term writer who can grow with the company. Please do not apply if only looking for a short-term opportunity.
Time: 5-10 hours per week, consistent and ongoing
Requirements: (Please do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following criteria.)
- Native English speaker
- Highly self-motivated and capable of independently writing quickly and completing tasks thoroughly
- Exceptional writing skills and ability to produce creative, comedic writing quickly and efficiently
- Interest in and familiarity with women’s fashion, beauty, motherhood and lifestyle and ability to independently generate interesting ideas about these topics
- Consistent, positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills with team members
- Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
- Utmost attention to detail (writing can never have spelling errors, syntax errors or typos of any kind)
- Experience with social media and mastery of Instagram (including Reels and Stories) and TikTok
