Description
Hey!
I'm looking to hire someone to help me write up articles for my career-focused site CultivatedCulture.com
Our goal is to find a true partner who we can work and collaborate with to create awesome, SEO-optimized, evergreen content.
This will be ongoing work. At the beginning, we will start will smaller projects, then we will ramp up as we find a fit. You can expect to write a minimum of 4,000 words per month once we're all ramped up.
Summary
I get most of my site traffic via SEO. I'm looking for someone who can mimic my style of writing to help me increase the amount of long form, SEO-optimized content produced on the site's blog.
Process
Our content manager has a list of topics and targets with specific keywords. Each month, you will partner with them to create new articles.
They will provide a post brief with specific keywords, headings, and notes about links, etc. for each post.
After that, it's off to the races! You can write on your own schedule.
What You'll Be Writing About
My website is aimed at teaching people how to land more jobs. There are a myriad of topics out there from resumes, to cover letters, to job interviews that we're going to cover. You can read our posts here.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role:
- Can mimic my writing voice (examples here)
- Has a basic knowledge of SEO and how to optimize blog posts correctly
- Has a track record of writing compelling long-form content (I focused a lot on actionable, step-by-step details)
- Isn't afraid to bring ideas to the table and make suggestions
- [Most Important] is willing to go above and beyond to deliver results and make their value stand out
The last few jobs we've posted have seen hundreds of applicants. We prioritize people who find creative ways to go above and beyond to show us why they meet the criteria above and are the best fit for this role.
If you've written career-focused content in the past, awesome! That's definitely not a deal breaker though.
If you have any questions at all, just ask!
