We are looking for someone that is passionate about SEO and everything that makes content reach the top spots in the SERPs.
Someone that is constantly plotting on how to outdo top-ranking pages and secure the first spots in Google for our content and must specialize in delivering content-led SEO strategies.
We are looking for a versatile SEO Content Writer who can build our search visibility.
We work with start-ups and existing businesses, B2B markets primarily.
In any given week, you might be writing:
*SEO landing pages
*Pillar pages
*Blog content
*Long-form content
*Ultimate guides
*Webpages, and more.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
SEO experience or background- No exceptions here. You will always get keywords and SERP analysis for each piece. But you must have the SEO know-how and expertise to build on that information and craft a piece that will rank well for its target keywords.
Versatile portfolio- If you just write blog posts and have only dabbled in SEO, this position wouldn’t be for you. We create a whole range of SEO-driven content and copy, and you must have experience in crafting all the content assets I mentioned above and more.
Experience in researching, complex topics- We will need you to create an in-depth content on a wide range of topics. You must have a knack for digging deeper than the obvious to construct a quality piece that both users and Google will love.
Native English speaker, preferably- We have high standards for content. Because of that, we are looking for someone who can write a copy that pulls the reader in from the opening paragraph and keeps them glued to the page. You don’t have to be a native speaker to have such command of the language, of course, but it helps. However, if you feel you are at that level, please apply.
A can-do attitude- We craft a lot of copy each week, and this is a fast-paced environment. We are also crazy about deadlines. Now, we have processes and workflows to make the production run smoothly, but you must be willing to work hard, follow our processes, and always meet deadlines.
What happens after you’ve applied:
We will be collecting submissions for the next few days.
If your application catches our attention, we will contact you and we discuss the potential collaboration, and figure out if you’re a good fit for our environment.
If you are, then we will request a test piece to see how well you do. This would be a fully paid assignment, of course.
