We’re building a team of freelance writers with 5+ years in Martial Arts to write copy that not only helps launch our new site, www.fightingartshealthlab.com, but supports the ongoing updates to the site.

Fighting arts is pervasive in every city, country and continent. There are many story tellers providing deep insights into fighters, training, training camps, evaluating up coming fights, the blow by blow and the post mortum of fights. Yet what happens after the fight, a training session or a night on the town.

Your focus will be on fighting arts lifestyle and culture trends, music, food, fashion, art, and entertainment. How are fighters influencing those areas or how are those areas influencing fighters? Who are the innovative in martial artists? Are they artists, chefs, designers, brewers etc. How are these mover and shakers shaping the landscape? You will be tasked with digging deeper to find the unique aspect to the story in your city, region, nation or continent.

The purpose of your work will encompass two areas:

(1) Deliver a valuable and meaningful experience that satisfy visitors informational needs,

(2) Motivate visitors to opt in to our eNewsletter as a result of the value delivered in the articles,

(3) Drive ongoing engagement with the content on the website,

(4) Create highly motivating affiliate marketing content to entice readers to further explore marketing partners offers.

The initial launch of the website and post launch will require significant support in the lifestyle and culture categories. Here is a breakdown of the need:

Year 1: May 1st to April 30, 2019:

• 52 Articles 1,000 words each (once a week)
• 12 quizzes built from created content. (once a month) ~400 words

Year 2: May 1st to April 30, 2020

• 52 Articles 1,000 words each (once a week)
• 12 quizzes built from created content. (once a month) ~400 words

 Year 3: May 1st to April 30, 2021

• 52 Articles 1,000 words each (once a week)
• 12 quizzes built from created content. (once a month) ~400 words

Ideally, you’ve been:

• Writing professionally for at least 3 years
• Have 5+ years of experience in creating Lifestyle and Culture content
• You’ve been previously published on major sites
• Understand and have written sales copy
• Demonstrated understanding of advance SEO concepts, and will be able to apply those best practices into your writing with ease

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering successful affiliate marketing content
• A portfolio of online articles that have earned a lot of shares on social media

Required qualifications:

• Currently training in a combat sport
• A strong understanding and ability to write copy in the English language
