Description
We manage a website that specializes in animal content and need a high volume - full time - production editor to publish 200-400+ pieces of content a month.
You will NOT be doing proofreading and copyediting. If this is your skill and strength, this is not the right role for you.
You will manage a team of writers, taking their content from draft state and pushing through to publish on our site along a detailed checklist.
You will be:
- Embedding media (mostly images, but also video) in to each article
- Formatting the article (H2s, headlines, tables, etc)
- Adding inbound and outbound links to each article
- Adding affiliate links for proper monetization
- Formatting FAQs and other meta data in our CMS
Much more.
You will need to have a very good understanding of how each piece on our website should be formatted, and make all of the appropriate changes independently. When writers are frequently missing important elements you’ll need to provide feedback and coaching to help them improve.
You will be publishing between 200 - 400 pieces in a given month.
