We are working on a new website that helps homeowners to learn everything they need about their own bathrooms.
We cover a wide range of topics around bathroom-related issues: bathroom design, bathroom safety, and bathroom maintenance tips.
Our approach to content:
Yeah, we get that bathrooms are not the sexiest topic you wrote about until now. But we want to make it sexy for our readers. There’s lots of bad and fluffy advice out there and we aim to be better than that.
Readers are our TOP priority. So we won’t be forcing you to learn SEO, insert affiliate links into content or sell anything in our content. Your job as a writer is to educate homeowners about bathrooms and become an expert at it.
That’s why we’re looking for writers who can help us make it work IN THE LONG TERM.
Who is our perfect candidate:
- You are a native English speaker. Your writing is engaging and concise.
- You can dig deep when researching a given topic. Googling the top 10 similar articles is not enough, so we'll assist you in conducting in-depth research.
- You can write up to 10-15 blog posts per month. Without losing quality.
- You are open to a long-term partnership.
- You work well with outlines. You can write and research a blog post based on a detailed outline that we provide.
Bonus: you have relevant experience in the bathroom niche.
This position will start as a part-time writer and can grow into a full-time relationship if we like working with each other.
How much do we pay:
- Starting rate is $30 per 1000 words
- The average post length is 1200 - 1500 words
- 10-15 posts per month
- The rates can be discussed
- We are more than ready to hire you full-time if you’re the right fit
- Successful long-term writers can get a job on our other projects
Do You Need Relevant Experience?
Kinda.
Our topics are not rocket science, but you need to be able to tell bad advice from good advice in this industry. We are helping our writers with research to save their time.
Surely we will prioritize candidates with relevant experience in the bathroom advice niche and relevant writing examples, but if you convince us you’re great at researching topics and have a nicely tuned BS-meter -- go ahead!.
Note: the fact that you use bathrooms is NOT a relevant experience, it’s what makes us civilized people, come on :)
