Attainable Home is the idea & mission that creating wealth, prosperity, and well-being is possible through net-zero and sustainable homeownership and investment. We’re doing this by being a platform to help others learn through financial and monetary education, real estate investment, and sustainability on our website AttainableHome.com.
For our first project case study, we have also just completed a fully net-zero renovation project that powers both the house and the electric car (Tesla Model 3) 100% for under the area's average home price, and we have documented the whole process. The company is mainly focused on the younger generations and millennials as well, and we are already working on more projects to share on the blog.
To help us build our content and website traffic we are looking for 2 or 3 talented content writers ongoing to write 2-3 posts per month for us. The posts will be anywhere from 1,000 to 2,500+ words and we have specific formats and structures for how we would like to create these. This opportunity would be great for anyone with experience and interest/passion for:
- Finance & Investing
- Economics & World Monetary Systems
- Real Estate Investing
- Affordable Housing & Impact Investing
- Green Building & Sustainable Living
- Modern & Smart Home Technology and Design
- Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy – both residential and commercial.
Subtopics & categories would also include Tiny Homes, Off-Grid Living, F.I.R.E. Movement, and similar.
You will work directly with the company's editor to help educate and bring awareness to all facets of the above-mentioned topics.
You will be provided the exact topic, headline, and directives with each article. We will require you do to the research and write up the posts in our specific format. There will be a lot of freedom and room to write posts up in your own voice beyond a few specific requirements regarding the format.
You will also submit just the written word portion of the articles via Google Doc or Word. There will be no need to log into our online system, find pictures, or do anything else like that.
Further requirements and details:
Scheduling: We will expect you to adhere to the publishing schedule. Late submittals will result in termination if abused.
Credit: Due to the site structure and strategy, some of your writing with be ghostwriting to start.
Payment – We pay per word and as mentioned above, the article lengths are 1,000 words up to 2,000+.
Our typical range of payment is 3 to 5 cents USD per word depending on the level of expertise and experience in the above-mentioned niches.
Language and Skill - You must be a fluent and native English speaker, enough to understand American lingo and speaking style.
Ownership - You agree and understand that all photos, videos, written content, and all other media submitted to AttainableHome.com are the exclusive property of the company and you do not have the right to republish that content on your own site. You will agree to review and sign our Contract Writer Contract upon onboarding as well.
Legal – This content writer position is available only as an independent contractor position.
Please submit a cover letter with your resume, experience, requested pay rate (per word), and other details on your interest in this position. Please include with it at least 2-3 articles that you can point to that is published online, and ranking on Google.
