Description
We are looking for freelance writers who can produce thoughtful, well-written, and competent content. We have many websites comprising many different genres, including pets, culinary, home improvement, and others.
THE WORK
Most of our articles are product reviews, single topic how-tos, or question and answer pieces.
Articles will have a predetermined minimum and maximum word count, usually between 1200 and 1500 words for shorter articles and as high as 5000 words for longer ones.
You will follow a scripted format for introductory paragraphs, answer paragraphs, subheadings, conclusions, etc.
Minimal video and external links are required.
General subject research is required, but nothing more involved than good Google-Fu.
REQUIREMENTS
· The ability to write like a native speaker of US English, including good grammar
· The ability to write in a simple yet engaging manner without smarm, or fluff
· The ability to commit to and meet reasonable deadlines
· Be open to receiving and giving respectful suggestions
· Professional attitude. We will treat you like a professional, and we expect the same
· The ability to follow a simple style guide
THE COMPENSATION
Our starting rate is .04 per word, and we can offer up to 10K words per week for good writers. This is an ongoing steady job with about 3000 articles in the pipeline.
