About the Role
I'm looking for an experienced SEO travel writer to help grow an established travel website with a large audience.
I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating useful, in-depth travel content. The content calendar, topics, structure will be provided along with lists of specific places to visit and tips from visiting, the writer needs to turn this into SEO optimised content.
The website already has many destination guides and receives organic traffic, but there's a huge opportunity to expand the content library.
This is an ongoing freelance position for someone who wants a long-term relationship rather than a one-off project.
What You'll Be Writing
Topics include:
Destination guides
Detailed itineraries
Practical travel advice
Restaurant guides
Hotel recommendations
Things to do
Packing guides
Most articles will be between 2,000–5,000 words depending on the topic.
What I'm Looking For
Excellent English writer.
Have experience writing SEO-focused blog content.
Understand keyword research and search intent.
Know how to structure articles that rank.
Can write naturally without sounding robotic.
Are happy working from outlines, voice notes and existing travel experience.
Are reliable and communicate well.
Can meet agreed deadlines.
Bonus points if you have experience writing about travel.
